Students from The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community Small World “Praise, Pray, and Play” Class of 2025 enjoyed a day filled with learning and discovery during an Educational Field Trip to Manila on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The full-day event, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offered Small World pupils, Small World Volunteer teachers and staff, parents, guardians, and guests a unique opportunity to explore the country’s rich culture, history, and scientific wonders.
The Educational Field Trip Tour Package specially designed for The Lord’s Flock – Small World with a theme “Discover, Learn, and Explore” aims to provide participants with a fun, safe, and meaningful learning experience that connects science, art, faith, and history through some of the most inspiring destinations in Metro Manila.
Each destination has been selected by MEGAWIDE EVENTS MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC. to engage participants of all ages—from children to adults— with educational content, hands-on experiences, and guided storytelling that highlights the beauty of Filipino culture and innovation. It was an event filled with notable moments of fun, laughter, adventure, learning, and awareness of Filipino cultural heritage.
Presidential Car Museum
Starting with a visit to the Presidential Car Museum (Quezon City Circle) (locally known as Museo ng Pampangulong Sasakyan) is a museum dedicated to the historic vehicles used by former presidents of the Philippines. In a poignant moment, the students were so amazed on how past leaders traveled and how automotive style and presidential image evolved through the years. This was a bonus trip that was not included in actual itineraries.

The Mind Museum
The Mind Museum, a world-class facility, is designed to foster a love for science through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. This well-rounded itinerary truly embodied the “Play” element of the “Praise, Pray, and Play” theme, making learning a joyful and memorable experience where students explored interactive science exhibits that sparked curiosity and critical thinking. They eagerly participated in activities that helped them better understand scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden
Field trip also included a fun and engaging stop at the Manila Zoo, where students learned about animal conservation and biodiversity. The children were excited to see various animals up close, learning about wildlife conservation and the importance of caring for the environment.

National Museum of Natural History
A highlight of the trip was the exploration of the National Museum of the Philippines- Natural History. Here, students got an up close look at significant historical artifacts. The museum provides a chance to see real-life examples of lessons they usually encounter only in books. As they walked through the galleries, they were introduced to the rich biodiversity of the Philippines—native plants, animals, marine species, fossils, rocks, and minerals. The impressive displays, including preserved specimens and detailed dioramas of forests, oceans, and mountains, helped students better understand ecosystems and environmental conservation. Seeing these exhibits within range sparked curiosity and deepened their appreciation for the natural world. The iconic “Tree of Life” structure inside the museum also left a lasting impression, symbolizing the connection of all living things.

Luneta Park
A visit to Luneta Park brought Philippine history to life. Standing before the iconic Rizal Monument, they were reminded of the heroism and sacrifice of José Rizal our national hero, whose life and works greatly influenced the country’s fight for freedom. Seeing the actual site where Dr. Rizal was executed helped students better understand the importance of courage, love of country, and standing up for what is right. History lessons became more meaningful when students could connect stories from textbooks to real places.
