The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community, through the coordination of the Kingdom Works Ministry and the DPWH Chapter, held a blessed outreach program at the Servants of Charity on July 26, 2026.The Servants of Charity, founded on March 24, 1908, by Italian priest Luigi Guanella, has a mission to serve abandoned youth, isolated elderly people, and individuals with special needs. In keeping with this mission, the outreach served eighteen (18) individuals with disabilities from 13 to 48 years old. The outreach was made possible through the generous service and participation of Twelve (12) Kingdom Works volunteers, together with Bro. Arvel Emperador, Steward of the DPWH Chapter, who joined and supported the outreach mission. It was a remarkable event that manifested the love of Christ through the TLF outreach team in relation to the Servants of Charity beneficiaries who undoubtedly acknowledged such act of generosity.
The program began with a Binding Prayer led by Sis. Baby Subol, Kingdom Works Steward, interceding for God’s protection, guidance, and presence throughout the outreach. Sis. Elena Garcia led the joyful singing, together with Kingdom Works Music Group, creating an atmosphere of joy and praise as everyone gathered for the activity. Moreover, Bro. Arvel Emperador, Steward of the DPWH Chapter, initiated the Opening Prayer, humbly offering the entire outreach program, the volunteers, and the beneficiaries to the Lord. Then, Sis. Pewee Sarte, Kingdom Works Steward, delivered a short introduction about The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community. She shared the community’s history, mission, services, and the various programs it offers, in serving others and in sharing God’s love with different communities.
The program became animated when the games started. The Kingdom Works members also joined in the fun, including the “Trip to Jerusalem.” Moreover, the beneficiaries presented their dance number: “Hawak mo ang beat” and “Bye, Bye.” A touching moment was also shared through Bernie’s heartfelt performance of “Ikaw Sana,” which was warmly received and appreciated by everyone.
Lunch was served and blessed by Sis. Pewee Sarte. The Kingdom Works volunteers joined the beneficiaries for lunch, sharing the meal and assisting them with their food as needed. It was a simple yet meaningful moment of fellowship and care.
In addition, Bro. Roger and Bro. Son, members of the Brotherhood Congregation at the Servants of Charity, shared their personal experiences and their journey of obedience and dedication in serving and caring for the poor and those in need. They expressed their gratitude to The Lord’s Flock for being part of the outreach and shared how joyful and uplifting their experience was as members of the charismatic community. They also detailed that, as servants of the facility, they believe their purpose is to love God and serve others, especially those in need. Despite the challenges and disabilities faced by the beneficiaries, they continue to support them spiritually.
The outreach became more than an act of giving. It was an opportunity to share faith, build fellowship, and experience God’s love through service. Through the presence and generosity of the volunteers, the beneficiaries were given not only assistance but also companionship, joy, and a reminder that they are valued and cared for.
