The Lords Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held its Senior Memories: Dance and Sing Along at the Event’s Place on October 17, 2026. The event was attended by 97 seniors aged 60 years old and above (10 attendees were below 60 years old) and several guest performers from Koros and Small World who helped liven up the program. It was a joyous and reminiscent occasion for Seniors who cherished their bonding moments through dances, songs and contest, further intensified by the presence of Soar Techie Rodriguez (Elder-Founder).
DANCE FOR ALL
The program started with opening prayer led by Sis. Joy Valde (Steward). Thereafter, Sis. Milet Lansangan who was the emcee for this event invited everyone to join the “Dance for All” segment. Indeed, everyone danced to their hearts delight brimming with joy and enthusiasm as the first set of songs were played:
- Footloose
- September
- Shake Body Dance
- Shake Your Groove Thing
- Rico Mambo
INTERMISSION DANCE By Seasoned Cluster Ladies
To further brighten the event, the talented ladies of the Seasoned Cluster performed an intermission number to the song “Dancing Queen” while everyone cherished the dance sways and rhythmic movements. Then, the excitement ran high, when the rest of the audience participated.

SOARPRISE NUMBER
Despite Soar Techie’s hectic schedule, she still made time to mingle and dance with them, along with her armor bearers. It was a memorable moment to share the dance floor with her making them feel her love and care for the community. She even encouraged the seniors to invite the younger ones to attend, especially during Grow Series.

SINGING PAKULO CONTEST
The excitement continued with the SINGING PAKULO contest hosted by Sis. Millet Lansangan. The contest featured the songs “I Swing Mo Ako” and “Lord Hear Our Prayer” with 5 winners in the latter category.

Another activity was the “Bahay Kubo Song Dugtungan” which attracted numerous participants with the winner coming from the Intercessory Ministry. Adding more fun and laughter to the event, our co-founder, Bro. Froilan Hong surprised and entertained the attendees with his own humorous rendition of “Sa Lumang Simbahan” resulting in an uproar of laughter.
Moreover, Sophie Anito, guest singer from the Small World, took the center stage with danceable songs. Her energetic performance delighted the audience, who were thrilled and tickled pink as they reminisced the hit songs of their younger days.

DANCE FOR ALL – SECOND SET
The fun continued led by the Koros School of Dance through an exciting line dance session. The dance playlist featured the following songs: Carmelita, Angelina, Macarena, Let’s Groove (by Earth, Wind and Fire), Born to be Alive, Chili Cha Cha and Boogie Wonderland. Hence, the seniors danced with endless energy since these songs were reminiscent of their generation.

LOVE OFFERING
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing” (Malachi 3:10). As an expression of gratitude everyone shared their tithes for the boundless blessings, graces, guidance, protection and love from the Lord.
ONE LAST LINE DANCE
In addition, one last line dance to the upbeat of “Achy Breaky Heart” prompted everyone to go back to the dance floor. Everyone danced with boundless energy and gusto without a sign of fatigue.
FELLOWSHIP SONG
As the fellowship song “That’s What Friends are For” ended, everyone approached their beloved Soar. Indeed, a deeply touching moment unfolded when they huddled together and hugged her.

CLOSING PRAYER
Finally, the closing prayer was initiated by Bro. Lito Santelices. Truly, the significant moment of this event was the Seniors’ thanksgiving to the Lord for the fruitful outcome of this occasion: enjoyment, sincere camaraderie, closeness, gift of friendship, and the presence of honored guests.
