The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community Sanctuary was filled up to the balcony last October 11 as the leaders, coordinators and members looked forward to the last Global Anointing for the year. Moreover, they eagerly anticipated the teaching/message of Sis. Techie “Soar’ Rodriguez’ (Elder-Founder) after she was on an international outreach for the past month. Likewise, provincial and international chapter leaders and members participated virtually through zoom while on various time zones. The Anointing rites were preceded by the sharing of important community updates: ministry accomplishments, financial status, Heritage construction and the commissioning of the SES (Spiritual Empowerment Seminar) Class of August 2026. The Elders-Founders, Soar and Tatay Bobby Rodriguez (via zoom from California), and Co-Founder Bro. Froilan Hong, were assisted by the Head Stewards and Council of Advisers in anointing and renewing the leaders, stewards, coordinators and members for service to the Lord. Hence, the Global Anointing similarly showcased the various accomplishments (present and forthcoming) signified by Elders’ USA Outreach and notable local events, affirming the community’s commitment to resolutely evangelize the “Word of God” both here and abroad.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP
The Psalm and Koros Ministries opened the program with joyful praise and worship, led by Bro. Kent Galido. Sis. Gina Duran (Steward, Renew Ministry) enthusiastically welcomed everyone and acknowledged the members who were tuned in via zoom.
WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR AND THROUGH THE COMMUNITY
Subsequently, Bro. Raymund Nobleza (Steward, Service Ministry) shared the amazing updates from August to September 2026. He covered the reports from the three Ministries: Pastoral, Service and Mission as well as the Executive Office (Database and Scribes Ministries). Highlights included:
- Soar’s milestone 80th birthday celebration, the successful staging of “May Isa Pang Teresa,” the launch of her book “Soaring on Eagle’s Wings”
- Completion of the “Making Disciples Series”
- “Youth Camp”
- Mass Blood Donation, Eye Check-up, Blood Chemistry
- “Pronunciation: Preliminary to Fluency” Training
- the spectacular “MVMNT” (Movement) dance concert by the Koros School of Dance
He also mentioned some of the forthcoming events for the remaining months of the year from October to December: Parenting Seminar, Senior Memories, Couples Night Season 3, Kingdom Works Outreach at the Mother of Divine Grace, Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar to be conducted by Soar at the LWUA and MWSS Chapters (Local Water Utilities Administration and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office) and Market Place.

Thereafter, Bro. Froilan shared the community’s financial report, itemizing the total collections (from local and international tithes, love offerings, fundraising) and disbursements (operating expenses, Heritage construction).
Lastly, Bro. Dinky Florentino and Bro. Allan Almendrala (ExeCom) provided updates on the Heritage building: the re-designing of the structure to steel; the completion of elevator upgrade; and the automatic switching of the generation set.
COMMISSIONING OF SES BATCH AUGUST 2026
The Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) August Batch produced twelve (12) candidates for Commissioning. They completed the SES, Maturing in the Spirit Seminar (MSS)and Equipping the Spirit Seminar (ESS) over the weekends of the past two months. Sis. Maria Lou Bardiago shared her testimony as a single mother: she realized (while she was working hard to raise them) that she had forgotten to connect and to listen to them particularly their fears and struggles. Consequently, she was inspired to follow God’s example who knocks and does not force the door to open (Revelations 3:20). Hence, she promised to do the same: be present, listen, and adapt to them.
The group presented an inspiring skit “the Call of Jesus for us to be the light of the world and be a blessing to others.”

Finally, Soar, Tatay Bob, and Bro Froi were joined by the Pastoral and Service Head Stewards, Sisters Elvie Tapia, Marie Regala, Alma Torres, and Bro. Raymund Nobleza in the commissioning rites.
57th ANNIVERSARY OF SOAR AND TATAY BOB
A brief intermission followed as the congregation greeted and honored the Elders-Founders on their 57th wedding anniversary. A video montage of their years together was prepared by the Special Events Ministry. To Soar’s surprise, Tatay Bob sang a Filipino song for her, “Ikaw lamang ang babalik-balikan.”
Elders’ Outreach USA
A video presentation recapped Soar and Tatay Bob’s Outreach in the USA from August 25 to September 30. Along with Outreach Steward Judith Almendarala, they conducted “Facing” for the appointment of stewards and coordinators, the “Rise Up” Retreat, and pastoral visits and teachings in the chapters’ Worship Gatherings.
They also enjoyed precious time with family and Soar’s siblings who prepared a belated birthday celebration for them.

SOAR’S TEACHING: COMMITTED TO GOD. COMMITTED TO HIS COMMUNITY
In keeping with the Anointing of leaders and workers, Soar started her teaching with “leadership begins with total commitment to God to take care of His sheep” (Matthew 22:37). Moreover, in serving the Lord, commitment requires sacrifice (Philippians 2:8), faithfulness (2 Timothy 4:7), obedience and accountability (Hebrews 13:17; John 6:38). She cautioned everyone to be wary of the three enemies of commitment: convenience (Matthew 6:33), feelings (Luke 22:42), and pride (Philippians 2:3). She concluded with a hope and prayer that her words may penetrate and stay in the hearts of everybody as the words were coming from the Lord: to change and to commit to faithful service.

ANOINTING CEREMONY
Soar preceded the Anointing ceremony with an emphatic reminder for the community to recognize the sacredness of the Sanctuary and to express reverence for Christ, “to enter His court with praise.” She stressed that prayer and reverence are both inward and outward; the charismatic way is joyful but always prayerful and reverent as doers of the Word.

Soar, Bro. Froilan, and Tatay Bob (via the zoom screen) started the anointing with oil initially with the Council of Advisers and Head Stewards. Thereafter, the Council of Advisers and Head Stewards were assigned to anoint the rest of the stewards, coordinators, workers and members with the oil on the foreheads and an accompanying prayer. Likewise, Soar extended her hand to consecrate the chapters leaders and members who were in the zoom meeting room.
Indeed, it was a blessed and spirit-filled Sunday morning, ushering a renewed community of Christ for the tasks ahead. The anointing of the Holy Spirit empowered the servants of the Lord with wisdom and boldness to do His work with commitment and steadfast faith and zeal.
To God be the glory!
