The Lord’s Flock Community eagerly looks forward to the Global Anointing every quarter. On the 1st of August 2026, the Sanctuary was filled all the way to the balcony with the participants clad in their white Sunday best outfits to honor the consecration by the Holy Spirit. The morning was dedicated to ministry updates, a teaching by Elder-Founder, Sis. Techie ‘Soar” and the commissioning rites of the SES (Spiritual Empowerment Seminar) Class of May 2026; lastly, the Elders-Founders/Co-Founder administered the anointing with oil to the leaders, stewards, workers and members to be cleansed, renewed and empowered for service.
The moderator, Sis. Gina Duran (Steward, Renew Ministry) enthusiastically welcomed everyone promptly at 9:00am, while Bro. Kent Galido, the Psalm and Koros Ministries led the congregation in joyful praise. The duo engaged everyone with a rollcall of the various ministries; as each ministry was called, the members announced their presence by singing “Praise the Lord, O my soul…AMEN!” Then, “Tatay” Bobby Rodriguez (Elder-Founder) charmingly greeted everyone and shared the good news on the forthcoming two LED screens for the stage.
WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR AND THROUGH THE COMMUNITY
Subsequently, Bro. Raymund Nobleza (Steward, Service Ministry) shared the good news from May to July 2026. He started with the major/corporate activities – Retreat “Rise Up” that was held on June 13-14 in Tagaytay, and the most recent “Signs & Wonders Healing Conference” on July 26. These were followed by the ministry updates and accomplishments.
Thereafter, Bro. Froilan Hong (Co-Founder) shared the community’s financial report, itemizing the total collections (from local and international tithes, love offerings, fundraising) and disbursements (operating expenses, Heritage construction).
Next, Bro. Dinky Florentino and Sis. Grace Lomarda (Execom) exhorted everyone to watch the upcoming stage play “May Isa Pang Teresa.” Bro. Dinky also provided an update on the Heritage construction; specifically, electrical and civil evaluations have been completed to comply with new building codes. Moreover, the new elevator that will go all the way up to the roof deck, is still in its testing phase.
SES MAY 2026 BATCH
The SES May 2026 Class was presented by Sis. Alma Torres and the “SES CARE team.” The SES class graduates started with two heartwarming testimonies which elicited a few tears from the audience:
- Ernesto Molina, cousin of Sis. Techie, was not a first timer to the community; he had taken the SES previously but was inconsistent in his attendance. He shared his hurts which started at a young age – why he was not afforded the same affection and treatment by his grandparents, while his cousins were obviously granted privileges. He confessed his failures as a partner and a father when he was into alcohol and drugs. Recently, he has been swamped by family issues particularly looking after his autistic grandchild. Then, he realized that he should send a text message to Sis. Techie (Ate Techie), who instantly responded and prayed with him.
Now, at a senior age and on his third SES, he has found the Lord again, with a chance to ask forgiveness and to serve the Lord: “Maski senior na, habang may hininga, may pagkakataon pa humingi ng tawad at bumalik sa Diyos. Ang natitirang buhay ko iaalay ko sa Kanya” (Trans: Though I am already a senior, while I am still breathing, I have the chance to ask forgiveness and to return to God. The remaining life (years) I have, I will offer it to God).
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ (Luke 15:24)
- John Clifford Grejaldo found his way back to the Lord after spending eleven (11) years in prison. He was an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker), a skilled fisherman in Hawaii. However, when he came back to the Philippines in 2015, he was involved in drugs, and he was the cause of the death of his children’s mother. Throughout his years of incarceration, his mother, Sis. Flor Ualat (a member of the Hong Kong Chapter, and now member of the Intercessory Ministry in Manila) had never given up on him. She visited him regularly and provided him a Bible which became his lifesaver.
Hence, he repented, prayed for forgiveness, and found peace in his heart (1 John 1:9; Romans 5:5). His Mama Flor also gave him Soar’s 15-minute prayer, which he prayed unceasingly. Finally, he gained his freedom last April 2, 2026, and immediately attended the May 2026 SES. He credits the seminar for deepening his faith. Moreover, he is now happy that he has been accepted by his children; his NBI clearance has been cleared, and he can start looking for a job.
Finally, he is now a new person in Christ, “Ako po ay isang bago ng nilalang. Ang dating madilim na buhay ay napalitan ng liwanag ng Diyos.” (Trans: I am now a new creation, The previous shadowy life I had was replaced by the light of God). He offered his heartfelt gratitude to Soar, the Intercessory Ministry and to his Mama Flor for being steadfast in praying for him.
Subsequently, the SES class performed a play “Are you qualified?” under the direction of Sis. Rose Baclig and Bro. Ric Rodelas (Dulaang T.U.P.A.). Bro. Gemar Fetalco acted as a recruiter interviewing different types of seekers. The play imparted a clear message that the Lord is not seeking perfect people; rather, He looks for those willing to turn their lives around and surrender their lives to Him.
MESSAGE ON ANOINTING
Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez shared a teaching that “Anointing signifies God’s presence” (1 John 2:20). Anointing consecrates and empowers people for God’s purpose; it renews spiritual passions, refreshes weary servants and ensures that the Holy Spirit is there to transcend human efforts. Furthermore, oil is used to consecrate articles and kings. Likewise, in the community, anointing starts from the elders, cascades to the head servant, Sis. Mik Flores, the ministry head stewards, stewards, workers and members (Leviticus 8:12). She concluded that the Anointing is not just a tradition, but a sacred gathering asking God to fill up everyone afresh. Consequently, accompanied by worship songs, she led the congregation in the adoration of the blessed sacrament (shown on the big screen) and encouraged everyone to pray silently and confess sins directly to God.
COMMISSIONING AND ANOINTING RITES
Finally, the highlight of the morning event commenced with the commissioning of SES Class May 2026 and the anointing of all the leaders, workers and members.
Soar, Tatay Bob, and Bro. Froilan officially accepted the thirty-five (thirty-five) seekers who had completed the Spirit Empowerment Seminar, Maturing in the Spirit Seminar and Equipping the Saints Seminars from May to July 2026. They were reminded to follow Jesus through the community and to have the consciousness of the presence of the Holy Spirit in their minds and hearts. Conversely, they professed to be the LIGHT of the world and SALT of the earth and committed to abide by the community’s core values and serve the Lord.
Lastly, anointing with prayer and holy oil was given by the founders initially to the Execom and Head Stewards, who then assisted them in anointing the rest of the leaders and workers of the various ministries.
Truly, it was a blessed, spirit-filled Sunday! The anointing of the Holy Spirit ensured that the servants of the Lord received wisdom and boldness, and thus, have been empowered do God’s work without becoming tired!
