The Lord’s Flock UAE Chapter welcomed the Mission team headed by beloved “Tatay” Bobby Rodriguez (Elder-Founder), Mel Capistrano (Pastoral Leader), and the lovely couple Dinky (Execom) and Te Florentino (Scribes Steward) at the Dubai International Airport last September 4, 2024. The Dubai Team, headed by the Stewards, Lourdes Inong, Jennifer De Castro, and Agnes Pilapil, eagerly greeted them with a welcome banner and flowers. They were thrilled to host the Manila visitors since Tatay and the team will participate in a series of activities culminating in the Chapter’s 11th-anniversary celebration.
The Mission Team checked in at Flora Creek Hotel, and the welcome party treated them to a quick catch-up dinner at Off the Hook restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the Boodle fight dinner while engaging in “kamustahan” with each other.
The dinner ended early to give the Mission Team a much-needed rest from the long flight. Their visit will be jampacked with the following activities: Leadership Meeting, Friday Praise and Worship, Saturday Anniversary Mass and 11th Anniversary Celebration, and finally, fellowship with the Small World and New Generation groups.
