The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (TLF) conducted the year’s second and last Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) at the Heritage Formation Center last August 26-27. A total of 245 guests participated, comprised of youth, single men and women, and married couples. The SES aims to help people develop a more personal experience with God. It culminates with the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which empowers the seekers to be emboldened witnesses of Jesus and transforms their lives with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Bro. Dinky Florentino and Bro. Raymund Nobleza moderated the Saturday and Sunday seminars, respectively, while the Psalm Ministry led the praise and worship for the entire seminar.
The teachings were delivered by Elder-Founder Sis Techie Rodriguez, Co-founder Bro. Froilan Hong and other stewards of the Community: Sis. JudithAlmendrala and Bro. Bert Gamez.
Group discussions were interspersed with the teachings so that the group members could share their thoughts regarding the topics discussed. A surprise offering of flowers by the husbands to their wives tickled the participants.
As a finale, the Blessed Sacrament was brought into the Sanctuary for silent prayers and Renewal of Baptismal Vows; the latter was facilitated by Sis. Lulu Perele.
Lastly, a Eucharistic Mass followed, presided by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Alfante, SVD.
Truly, the Spirit Empowerment Seminar is one of the major evangelization activities of the Community to bring more people to the Lord. All the attendees were invited to follow through with the Maturing in the Spirit Seminar the following weekend.
