The Global Ingathering (October 25, 2026)

The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Catholic Community gathered online for another Spirit-filled activity on Sunday, October 25, 2026. It was a wonderful opportunity for members from different international and local chapters to come together, especially those who could not be physically present at the TLF Heritage Center. Participants were also blessed to learn about family matters through the sharing of the guest speaker, Rev. Fr. Vincent O. Liwag, OSA, upon the invitation of the TLF community. The TLF global event not only fostered unity, camaraderie, and spiritual enlightenment among its members, but it also highlighted the significance of family relationship as a key to one’s mental being.

Despite the different time zones, members joined the gathering online to reconnect with old acquaintances and strengthen their fellowship. The event was moderated by Bro. Jimmy Esplanada (LA Chapter Steward) and Sis. Elaine Javier (Dublin Chapter Coordinator), who warmly welcomed everyone and guided the participants throughout the program.

The Elders—Bro. Bobby “Tatay Bob” Rodriguez, Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, and Bro. Froilan Hong—were delighted to see more than 280 participants in attendance. Sis. Mikaela “Sis. Mik” Flores, TLF Head Servant, was also present and encouraged everyone to support the upcoming Kingdom Works program for less fortunate communities.

To open the gathering, Bro. Derick Santiago (International Head Steward) led the praise and worship, guiding participants to prepare their hearts and acknowledge God’s presence. To keep the participants engaged, Bro. Pat Inong and Sis. Dhes Inong (Abu Dhabi Steward and International Steward, respectively), Bro. Vergel (Sarnia, Canada Coordinator), and Sis. Krishy (International Head Steward) facilitated various fun games that brought joy and fellowship among the members. Hence, the community was in high spirits and ready to receive the message from the guest speaker.

Following the games, Rev. Fr. Vincent O. Liwag, OSA, delivered an insightful talk entitled “Nurturing Family Well-Being and Mental Health: Understanding, Supporting, and Growing Together.” Fr. Vincent who is a priest and psychologist emphasized the importance of nurturing family relationships as a key factor in the overall well-being of each family member, especially children. He further explained that the mental health struggles of one family member can significantly affect the entire household; thus, parents are encouraged to remain attentive to the needs of their children.

Moreover, Fr. Vincent acknowledged that no family is perfect; however, striving toward an ideal family environment contributes to a healthy and well-functioning household. Among his recommendations were minimizing conflicts, fostering mutual respect, holding family discussions, maintaining emotional stability among parents, and practicing moral and religious values. These insights served as a meaningful eye-opener for all who attended.

After the presentation, a question-and-answer session allowed participants to seek clarification and personal advice. Before the event concluded, members were also given time to connect with one another through breakout sessions for more personal sharing and fellowship.

Thus, the Global Ingathering proved to be a worthwhile experience for the entire community. It provided an opportunity for members to reflect on their own family dynamics and consider ways to realign their households toward healthier mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In turn, these efforts contribute to building a stronger and healthier TLF community. The gathering ended with members feeling grateful, inspired, and hopeful for a better family life.
