Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, Elder-Founder of the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community, accompanied by Sis. Judith Almendrala, Steward of Elders’ Outreach, departed from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last Tuesday, August 25 evening for a month-long outreach in the United States of America. She will be leading various activities across the East Coast and West Coast Chapters, namely, “Facing 2026”, International Retreat, Spirit Empowerment Seminars, Grow and Worship Service teachings.
Several leaders from the Executive Committee as well as her Armor Bearers bid her farewell starting with a prayer for protection and for a successful mission at their residence, the “yellow house” in Quezon City, before they all travelled to the airport.
Her trip was preceded by a fellowship last Sunday, August 23rd with her “Partners in Mission” at the Heritage Worship and Spiritual Formation Center. It was marked by games, sharing of mission stories and a sumptuous merienda. She highlighted the importance of her pastoral visits to the chapters to nourish them personally with the Lord’s messages and to consecrate the leaders.
Accompanying them also on their journey is a nine-day novena which started on August 21 to cover them with the Lord’s mantle of protection and for a successful mission.
Truly, Soar, who just celebrated her 80th birthday on August 6, continues to be renewed in strength and tirelessly serves the Lord by proclaiming His Word. She is truly blessed to be “soaring on eagle’s wings” (Isaiah 40:31).
