The 3rd Spirit Empowerment Seminar: “Empowered Life” for 2026 was held at the Lord’s Flock Sanctuary on August 1- 2, 2026. It was a two – day spiritual seminar promoting an intimate relationship with God through the power of the Holy Spirit. It was a godly call encompassing one’s heart, soul, mind, and strength. A total of 112 guests participated, composed of youth, single men and women, single parents and married couples. Bro. Dinky Florentino (Trustee and Executive Board member) and Bro. Raymund Nobleza (Steward, Service Ministry) were the moderators during the Saturday and Sunday sessions. Truly, it was a significant spiritual undertaking that manifested the pervasive presence of God through the Holy Spirit resulting in an empowered life not only among the seekers/participants but also the members of the entire TLF community.
Day One: August 1 (Saturday)
The moderator, Bro. Dinky Florentino cheerfully welcomed everyone while the Psalm Ministry led the joyful singing. Bro Raymund Nobleza introduced the Charismatic Community, its origins, and the significance of praise and worship. He emphasized the powerful spiritual discipline that goes beyond music to serve as a way of life for believers.
The Community’s Elder-Founder, Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, delivered the highlight of the seminar with the teachings: “Experiencing the Holy Spirit” and “Experiencing the Power of God’s Love.” She imparted an inspiring talk, skillfully weaving personal anecdotes and biblical truths into a message of empowerment that resonated deeply with the seekers. Unhesitatingly, she totally shared her past life.
Day Two: August 02 (Sunday)
Bro. Bobby Rodriguez (“Tatay Bob”) talked about “Experiencing a Spirit-Filled Life.” He gladly shared his journey and the colorful life he had in the past. He reiterated that the foundation aspect of being Christian has affected every facet of his life from inner character to the outward mission in the community.
Moreover, Sis Lulu Perele led the “Prayer for the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit.” An encounter with the Holy Spirit was the true essence of the seminar reflected in the heartfelt seekers’ testimonials. She boldly shared her past hurts and fears about the loss of her mother and with God’s grace she forgave the culprit.
Similarly, In “Supernatural Aftermath”, Bro. Froilan Hong shared his experiences- how his life was fundamentally altered after encountering or being ravaged by his health condition and how the Lord eventually healed him. In addition, by putting the full armor of God, he benefited from this by protecting his mind, body, and soul.
Moreover, many participants were deeply moved by Soar’s life story: a testimony of faith, love and transformation. Lastly, she exhorted about the “Power to be Transformed” a deliberate shift in perspective, resilience and purpose which depends entirely on the individual.
Further, some participants shared their experiences right after the Baptism. Many experienced the signs and manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
Finally, the seminar ended with the Holy Eucharistic Celebration by Fr. Ferdinand Alfante, SVD. Indeed, it was an event designed by God and empowered by the power of the Holy Spirit. It was truly a wonderful and fruitful weekend for everyone present.
