Last June 26, 2026, The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community conducted Women’s Night with the topic, “No More Hiding: The Woman at the Well” at the Lord’s Flock Heritage. The women’s night was a dedicated gathering designed to help woman unplug, reflect, and reconnect with their faith.
The event commenced at 6:30 p.m. with the fellowship dinner at the lobby. The night was truly empowered because there were two hundred fifty-eight (258) women attendees including the participation of fifteen (15) guests. Sis. May Barcita (Steward, TLF East) enthusiastically welcomed and directed the attendees to the main hall of the Heritage. The program started with songs of praise and worship led by Sis. Dennis Flancia and the Psalm Ministry.

Subsequently, Sis. Mik Flores (Head Servant) shared the 8 Principles on No more Hiding: The Woman at the Well (John 4:1-10). The principles demonstrate Jesus’ salvation which is universally inclusive and freely offered. It is meant to satisfy the deepest spiritual thirst, regardless of a person’s past or social status. Jesus himself deliberately crossed cultural and religious barriers to speak to a Samaritan woman who was typically despised by Jews and viewed as an outcast. This has proven that God’s love extends to all people, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or social standing.
The Eight (8) Principles:
- Jesus meets you where you are.
- Vulnerability begins with honesty.
- Jesus breaks barriers to reach you.
- Jesus often starts with a simple invitation.
- You do not fully know what you need until you meet Him.
- Vulnerability positions you to receive.
- Jesus transforms every season.
- Encounter leads to change.

Sis. Mik shared the beautiful truth that Jesus does not wait for us to fix ourselves or get on our life together. He meets us exactly where we are in the middle of our mess, pain, brokenness, because He loves us unconditionally. Moreover, being vulnerable and honest with the Lord means laying aside the urge to perform and hide our struggles. God already knows our heart; sharing our fears, doubt, weaknesses allow us to move past self -protection. Similarly, some women participants unanimously expressed that the TLF community (so far) has been their safe space.
Further, Sis May Barcita (Moderator) stated the guidelines before they proceeded to the Well Side Conversation. All attendees were directed to look for the group they wanted to join. Then, the facilitators held a placard with the following topics: Single and Searching, Adulting, Single Mom, Grieving, The Breadwinner, Woman Struggling with Relationship, Aging Woman Growing Through a Season and Hurting, and Woman Raising Teenagers.

Towards the end of the program, a raffle draw was held where half of the proceeds went to the Lord’s Flock storehouse, while the other half was won by three delighted members.
Lastly, fostering sisterhood through shared experiences created a safe and calming environment to step away from daily responsibilities and to let go of stress, anxiety, and burnout. The women’s night created a big impact on them and encouraged each group to maintain their Well Side Conversation. Indeed, the women participants realized how much they needed God amidst their everyday struggles and adversity.
