Global Anointing May 10, 2026

The second Global Anointing for the year of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community was held on May 10, 2026, at the Sanctuary of the Heritage Worship and Formation Center.  Leaders and members eagerly arrived before 9am while members from the provincial and international Chapters joined virtually via zoom. The Council of Founders, Sis. Techie “Soar” and Tatay Bobby Rodriguez, and Bro. Froilan Hong, regularly conduct the anointing of workers to consecrate them and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in accomplishing the Community’s plans. Additionally, this forum is also an opportunity to keep everyone abreast on the progress of the ministries’ plans to-date, the financials and the Heritage construction.

The program started with joyful praise and worship led by Sis. Bea Baclig and the Psalm and Koros Ministries. Thereafter, Sis. Gina Duran (RENEW Ministry Steward) enthusiastically welcomed everyone and ensured the smooth flow of the activities.

Subsequently, Bro. Albert Johnson (Council of Advisers) delivered some announcements from the Executive Office and an update on the community’s financials. On the other hand, Bro. Raymund Nobleza (SERVICE Ministry Head Steward) provided progress reports from the various Ministries (PASTORAL, SERVICE, MISSION) and the Executive Office attached Ministries. Bro. Froilan Hong (Co-Founder) and Bro. Dinky Florentino (Council of Advisers) gave the status report on the on-going construction of the remaining Heritage higher floors.

Mothers’ Day Honoring

A special honoring was given to Soar and all the mothers in the Community in celebration of Mothers’ Day through an audio-visual presentation and “Mothers’ Day” foldable fans as token. Head Servant, Sis. Mik Flores honored her mother, Soar, live via zoom with a heartwarming message.

PRESENTATION BY THE FEBRUARY 2026 SES BATCH

One of the Feb 2026 SES graduates, Bro. Nelson Garcia, shared his experience of renewal through the persistent love and care of his siblings, particularly Sis. Liza Angeles (Pastor Married Steward). Then, in keeping with tradition, the batch presented a short skit entitled “Emergency Meeting: Operation Witness ni Budoy.” They portrayed an emergency meeting of Budoy’s body parts regarding witnessing for Christ to Budoy’s seatmate on a plane. Faith and love won over fear and need for comfort. Budoy found the strength to share his faith with his seatmate.

ELDER’S TEACHING

Soar shared a teaching on “Following Up New Members in the Church” (Acts 2:42-47). Specifically, she emphasized that new members are highly vulnerable and emotionally tender. Hence, they need to be discipled, equipped and guided through the feeding of spiritual milk and the sharing of experiences of God’s presence. She reiterated that God is not contented with simply recruiting new members; He wants disciples to continue to take care of them (Romans 16). Following up new members is vital in fulfilling the great commission. Recruits must turn into disciples just as seedlings turn into fruits. Every act of love strengthens the entire body of Christ.

COMMISSIONING AND ANOINTING RITES

Thereafter, the congregation knelt and went into prayerful mode as the lay ministers entered the Sanctuary with the Blessed Sacrament.

Soar and Tatay Bob administered the commissioning ceremony for the consolidated Nov-Jan-Feb 2026 Batch of twenty-nine candidates who had completed the Spirit Empowerment Seminar, Maturing in the Spirit Seminar, and Equipping the Saints Seminar. With the assistance of Head Stewards – Sisters Elvie Tapia, Marie Regala, Lea Tapispisan and Bro. Boboy Luna, the Council of Founders accepted them as members of the community and committed to nurture them. Conversely, the new members made their membership pledge to be the light of the world and salt of the earth.

Finally, the highlight of the program, the Anointing Rites, was given to the leaders and members. Initially, Tatay Bob, Soar and Bro. Froilan paid homage to the Blessed Sacrament and anointed each other with oil on the forehead.  Subsequently, they consecrated the Council of Advisers and the Head Stewards, who also assisted them in anointing all the Stewards, Small Group Leaders, workers and all other members.

Simultaneously, Soar turned to the international and local chapter members who were participating through zoom and led them through their remote anointing rites. The Anointing ceremony was concluded with the exit of the Blessed Sacrament.

Truly, the spirit-filled Sunday morning was a blessing to all. The anointing of all leaders and workers of the Lord’s Flock equipped and empowered them to accomplish the mission of discipleship, proclaiming God’s word to everyone and to bring more people close to the Lord.

To God be the Glory!
