The Lord’s Flock East Coast Facing 2026 event was held on March 8, 2026, at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Hoboken, New Jersey. The gathering was a deeply felt and powerful experience for forty-eight (48) attendees representing the Virginia-Maryland, Brooklyn, and New Jersey Chapters. Elder-Founder Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez who led “Facing 2026” focused on the theme “Discipleship” with ancillary topics/events: TLF retrospective, appreciation and consecration of TLF leaders.
Initially, Sis Techie (Soar) commenced with a teaching on “Discipleship:”
- The definition of a Disciple is a “learner” and an “apprentice.”
- The Cost of Discipleship necessitates surrendering self-will. Quoting Luke 9:23, she emphasized: “If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- Commitment: Following Jesus requires a life of total commitment and self-denial, where true disciples are willing to bear their crosses and prioritize Jesus above all else, including family and careers.
TLF Retrospective & Future
Thereafter, Soar shifted to the Lord’s Flock Community’s retrospective segment leading up to the transition in the coming year.

Key Aspects of the Retrospective
- Look What the Lord has Done in 2025: An audio-video presentation showcased the community’s successes from the previous year, highlighting programs and activities across local and international chapters.
- Transparency and Finance: Annual financial reports were provided, which covered collections, expenses, and contributions from TLF Main, Local and International Chapters, and upcoming projects for the Heritage Center.
- Leadership and Organizational Structure: The new Organization Chart of The Lord’s Flock was discussed to clarify roles and support the community’s mission to sustain its vision for future generations.
- Youth Empowerment: The community was encouraged to focus on empowering the youth, utilizing the experience of older/senior leaders to guide them.
- The event is part of the Lord’s Flock’s ongoing efforts to empower its chapters in the US, with Soar leading similar “Facing 2026” and “Empowered Life” events in various locations.
Appreciation and Recognition:
The session began with greetings and congratulations to the East Coast leaders who were given Certificates of Appreciation for their dedication and service for the year 2025.
Conversely, the East Coast Chapters, led by Sis. Krishy Ong (Head Steward for International), along with other Stewards and Coordinators, offered a token of appreciation and gratitude to Elder-Founder Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez for her guidance and inspiration as well as to Head Servant Sis. Mik Flores.

Consecration of 2026 Leaders
The set of leaders for 2026 were announced. In addition to the stewards, a new thrust for 2026 is the appointment of “Consultants” who have been faithful, committed stewards/head stewards in the community for many years, and who are now tasked to provide expertise, guidance and support to the new stewards. All appointees who were anointed with oil signified their commitments by signing their consecration letters.
Moreover, Soar charged all the Stewards and Coordinators to preach the word of God – “for which I was appointed as preacher and apostle and teacher” (2 Timothy 1:11). They were all encouraged to fight the good fight of faith and pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and wisdom.
Subsequently, everyone lighted their candles and affirmed their personal commitment to God. They concluded with a collective invocation of the Holy Spirit to empower and support them.

It was indeed a spirit filled Facing 2026 and everyone excitedly congratulated each other looking forward to an awesome 2026. They all celebrated with a sumptuous dinner.

To God be the glory!
