FACING 2026

For more than 20 years, the Lord’s Flock Community has continuously celebrated “Facing” where the theme for the coming year, as inspired by prayer and fasting of the Elders-Founders and the Execom, was presented to the members. Most importantly, the 2026 “FACING” revealed and consecrated the incoming leaders for service.

The eagerly – awaited Facing 2026 was held on January 4, 2026, at the Lord’s Flock’s Heritage. It started with a Ceremonial march of the 2025 leaders and workers, followed by the introduction of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Advisers. Moreover, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the 2025 Leaders, who served passionately and selflessly.

The Welcome Remarks given by the community’s Elder – Founder “Tatay” Bobby Rodriguez encouraged everyone to take a moment to reflect on 2025 milestones and blessings and offer each triumph as a manifestation of God’s grace. Moreover, he exhorted the community to unite and renew their commitment to love, serve as beacons and dedicate their service toward the goal, which is heavenward. He concluded by thanking all the 2025 workers for their hard work and service.

An Audio-visual presentation of the previous years’ FACING themes and ceremonies was shown that served as a guide for the programs that were implemented during those years.

Recap of 2025

The Elders-Founders were delighted in awarding certificates of recognition to the following:

  • Hall of Fame on Generosity (Chapter): Hongkong Chapters & UAE Chapters

  • Hall of Fame on Generosity (Individual): Sis. Maria Roy (Las Vegas Chapter) and Joey & Joy Molina (Stewards of Las Vegas Chapter)
  • Most Promising Chapter Award: St. Raymund Chapter in Dublin, California under the stewardship of Bro. Mel and Sis. Mai Garcia
  • Most Outstanding Servant of the Year: Sis. Aileen Francisco, Steward of Small World

Conversely, the TLF Community, through the Council of Advisers, offered a “Most Loving Admiration and Gratitude” Certificate and tokens to Soar & Tatay, whose lives reflect the inspiration from the Lord as true servants of the flock.

An entertainment break was provided by the Koros Ministry with their dance interpretation of “Wag Muna Tayong Umuwi.”

In addition, the 2025 accomplishments were summarized through an audio – video presentation, “Look What the Lord Has Done in 2025.” It showcased the past year’s programs and activities of the community, both local & international. The 2025 recap concluded with the Annual Financial highlights which was presented by Bro. Froilan Hong (Co-founder).

FACING 2026

Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez commenced Facing 2026 with a teaching, “Make Disciples”“Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Mt.28:19-20). She reminded everyone that being a leader also means being a “discipler” who has a heart that truly cares about another person and sees the damage that sin makes.

Thereafter, the congregation knelt and prayed in silence as the Blessed Sacrament was brought to the stage to give honor and homage to the God we serve.

One of the highlights of this year’s Facing was the Solemn Bestowal of the beloved Bro. Froilan Hong to the Council of Founders. He has been a faithful servant since 1985 and the bestowal on the TLF’s 40th anniversary is a fitting tribute to his long years of obedience and dedicated service.  As Soar eloquently stated, “It not just a position of honor, but a mantle of responsibility.”

The Solemn Bestowal and Transitional Appointment for Sis. Mik R. Flores followed. The rite emphasized formation, submission and stewardship as Head Servant of the core Ministries – Pastoral, Service, and Mission (Heb. 13:17).

Finally, the much-awaited announcement of the 2026 leaders ensued. In a surprise departure from previous years, the Elders announced a new group, “Council of Consultants” comprising twenty-nine Consultants across the various ministries, who have the expertise, depth of experience and years of service in their respective ministries, to provide strategic advice and guidance.  On the other hand, the appointed “Stewards” – a combination of incumbents and new appointees, will directly steer the programs and activities of their ministries in alignment with the mission of the Community.

As the names of the stewards or consultants were called, they went up the stage for consecration, and upon going down, they formed a Cross in the center aisle. The Elders and Head Servant then charged them with their responsibilities. Then, the Staff was passed on from the Head Servant Sis. Mik to the other leaders. Finally, the leaders lighted their candles and sang in unison in a solemn and moving conclusion to the Facing rites.

A moment of silent prayer concluded the event as the Blessed Sacrament exited the Sanctuary.

Indeed, it was a FACING with a lot of firsts, which augurs well for an eventful and innovative year to truly “MAKE DISCIPLES.”

To God be the glory!
