The Outreach Team joined the UAE community in a joyful celebration following two days of spiritual activities. The occasion honoured the wedding anniversary of their Elders, Tatay Bob and Soar, and also celebrated the birthday of the Co-Founder, Bro. Froilan Hong.
These gatherings became a meaningful opportunity to strengthen camaraderie between the two communities and deepen their bond before returning to Manila.
November 9, 2025: Wedding & Birthday Celebration
The TLF Community UAE Chapter gathered at Knight Castle Hotel on November 9, 2025, to celebrate the 56th wedding anniversary of the community’s Elder- Founders, Tatay Bob and Soar, along with the birthday of Co-Founder Arch. Froiland Hong.
The event united members from the local chapters—Dubai, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah—alongside the visiting Outreach Team from the Philippines (Mel Capistrano, Dinah Sario, Baet Ng, and Ressy Pichay) in a joyful occasion filled with fellowship and gratitude.
The program featured lively games honoring the celebrants, dance presentations from various ministries, and a heartfelt ceremony that included gifts, inspiring messages, and communal prayers. During the anniversary celebration, Tatay Bob and Soar delighted the crowd with cake-cutting, wine toast, and couple’s dance. Ministries then took turns presenting gifts to honor their beloved Elders.
The evening concluded with a sumptuous buffet dinner and live entertainment from the in-house band, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration as the community embraced this precious opportunity to honor life, love, and leadership.
November 10, 2025: Outreach & Leadership Fellowship Dinner
The following day, the Outreach Team gathered with leaders and coordinators from various UAE chapters for a simple yet meaningful fellowship dinner. The gathering was a gesture of thanksgiving—for the team’s visit to the UAE and for everyone’s efforts in making the recent spiritual activities a success.
The UAE community took this opportunity to connect personally with the Outreach Team, especially with Tatay Bob, Soar, and Bro. Froi. In a heartfelt gesture, they honored their Elders once again by celebrating Tatay Bob and Soar’s wedding anniversary and Bro. Froi’s birthday. Gifts were presented to the Elders and the entire Outreach Team, followed by a lively dance presentation from UAE stewards and coordinators.
Everyone joined in the fun with the “Musical Plate” game, which brought laughter and joy to both communities. The evening concluded with a short speech from the Elders, expressing gratitude to the UAE leaders, and then proceeded to a shared dinner. It was a night filled with dancing, fellowship, and deepened camaraderie between the UAE and Outreach teams.
November 11, 2025: Departure to Manila
The final moments of the outreach journey were marked by gratitude, fellowship, and a hopeful promise to return.
As the final leg of the outreach mission came to a close, everyone worked together to pack their luggage before heading to the airport. In keeping with tradition, a simple lunch featuring homemade dishes and Dubai favorites was shared by all, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere.
Before departure, the beloved Elders offered their blessings and prayed over the coordinators and stewards, affirming the spiritual bond that had grown throughout the visit. At the airport, the Outreach Team checked in smoothly and exchanged heartfelt goodbyes. Yet amid the farewells was a joyful promise—to return for another outreach next year!
