On July 19, 2025, The Mission Ministry of the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (TLFCC) through the Kingdom Works Ministry (KW) conducted their outreach at the Buklod Kalinga Para sa Kapwa Association for Others, Inc., from 9 a.m. to 12nn despite the heavy downpour brought by typhoon Crising. It was a charitable event that fostered love, compassion, and joy to the orphans of Buklod Kalinga and a remarkable assistance to the Discalced Augustinian Sisters (DAS) of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Congregation.
Under the leadership/guidance of KW Stewards, Sis. Baby Salazar and Sis. Thata Borromeo with assistance from the Healing Ministry (led by Bro.Ronnie Ongteco) and St. Luke’s Ministry (led by Sis. Ghie Geronimo and Sis. Peachy Nobleza), a total of twenty-two (22) workers faithfully volunteered during the outreach activity. In addition, ten (10) members from the St. Luke’s Ministry, two (2) representatives from the Healing Ministry, two (2) social workers and five (5) volunteers from PNP SAF provided support, contributing to the successful and meaningful outcome of the KW-initiated charity event.

Moreover, Buklod Kalinga Para sa Kapwa, is a residential facility in Brgy. Don Bosco, Better Living, Paranaque devoted to the care of nineteen (19) orphans (children and young adults aged 8 to 27 years old) who have not been provided support by their biological parents. Sis. May Memorial, Mother Superior, together with four (4) staff-nuns, manage the institution under the auspices of Discalced Augustinians Sisters of Jesus, Mary & Joseph congregation.
The children and young adults commenced the activity with a solemn opening prayer and spirit-filled praise and worship, while Sis. Thata Borromeo delivered the welcome remarks. Sis. Baby Salazar led the recitation of the Binding, Shielding and Protection prayers. Bro. Ronnie Ongteco and Sis Rosalie Gabriel offered prayers for the DAS residents, while the closing prayer was led by Bro. Ronnie. Finally, the songs rendered by the KW choir added to the joyful atmosphere of the event.
The highlights of the event included medical and dental services, healing sessions, and feeding programs. Jollibee meals sponsored by the Psalms Logistics, delighted the children and young adults. Also, packs of grocery items and other school necessities were joyfully received by the orphans. Additionally, the orphans underwent medical checkups (with medicines), dental extraction and fluoride varnish application. In particular, KW members and friends donated groceries and food to the workers and staff. To cap the event, a sumptuous lunch happily shared by the participants ensued.

Truly, the love, compassion and joy experienced by the Buklod Kalinga children and young adults including the wonderful memories brought by the KW outreach activity will be forever etched in their hearts.
To God be the glory!
