June 21, 2025 was a day filled with anointing as the halls of Microtel, Acropolis welcomed invitees to the very first Empowered Work Life — a seminar specially designed for businessmen, professionals, and executives. This was an initiative organized by The Brethren Ministry of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Community to reach out and spread God’s word to this specific demographic group.
Empowered through prayer to be equipped for God’s work, the ministry members began by building relationships over lunch with the guests. The program then formally started with a short prayer led by Sis. Nympha Casambros, a Brethren Ministry member. Sis. Atty. Maja Barrientos (a Steward of the Ministry) followed with warm and inspiring welcome remarks.
There were four Lord’s Flock speakers who shared powerful teachings: Fr. JC Gallora, Bro. Allan Almendrala, Sis. Norma Ramos, and Bro. Arch. Dinky Florentino. Each one spoke meaningfully about aligning one’s work life with God’s greater plan — emphasizing working with purpose, leading with faith, and entrusting one’s success to the Lord.
The moderator for the day, Sis. Gina Duran, then encouraged participants to form small groups for a time of sharing. Each group was facilitated by a Brethren member, providing an opportunity to reflect on which message resonated most deeply with the guests.
The event concluded with a heartfelt closing message from Bro. Gem Espina and a closing prayer by Sis. Nol Sioson, both Stewards of the Brethren Ministry
In total, 21 individuals were ministered — each one touched and inspired by the Word of God.
It was truly a successful event, all for God’s greater honor and glory!
