Day 1 – Meeting with Rome Chapter leaders
The Lord’s Flock Elder Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez invited Fr. Rene Silas SJBP for lunch at the Manila Restaurant in Rome last May 29, 2025. They met to discuss and clarify (with him) the current condition of TLF Rome chapter with his church, Asunzione di Maria Church. The Molinas: Joey (Europe Regional Coordinator), Joy (Elder’s Outreach coordinator) and their son, Albert, accompanied Soar to the meeting.
In the evening, Soar, together with Judith Almendrala and Joey Molina, met the TLF Rome chapter coordinators, Nimfa Banag and Alex Fernandez at her (Soar) hotel room. They discussed resolutions to improve and to encourage the chapter’s relationships and growth.
Alex Fernandez brought with him a luggage which lost one of its wheels and hard to maneuver. He was so helpful to fix it and everyone appreciated (what he did), but they laughed because the wheel color did not match the luggage. Then, the evening concluded with dinner and prayers.
Day 2 – Meeting with chapter members
The next day started with a luncheon invitation by The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Rome chapter coordinator Nimfa Banag and Alex Fernandez at their home in central Rome. They served delicious pork sinigang, salad and, embutido with steam rice.
After lunch, the mission team headed by TLF Elder Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez and her companions were supposed to go to Castel Romano Designer Outlet for a mission break, but God had other plans for them. Instead, Soar and the mission team (with a sense of urgency) met the chapter members at Church of Gesu Maria at Via de Corso, Rome. The attendees included: Soar, Judith Almendrala, Joey Molina, and Joy Molina (mission team), Fr Rene Siglas (Spiritual Director of TLF Rome Chapter), Nimfa Banag, Viring Almeranp, Cynthia Ilagan, Alex Fernandez, and two Sisters from MSM order. Soar started with a prayer and gave her teaching about the community as the body of Christ. She emphasized how they should treat one another in the community and encouraged them to stand firm in times of testing. Following the teaching, Soar helped to resolve current chapter issues and advised them to move forward with unity and excitement.
A pleasant surprise happened when Fr. Zenkie Manabat, TLF priest currently assigned in Batanes, showed up at the meeting place. He had been staying at the same place where the meeting was held. He ended up sharing spiritual thoughts, and led the closing prayer. The evening concluded with conversations over coffee and desserts at a cafe nearby Gesu Maria with Soar, Fr. Zenkie and seven (7) others from the meeting.
Day 3 – Road to Fuiggi, Italy
The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Founder Elder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez and the Molinas: Joey, Joy and Albert went to Fiuggi, Italy on May 31, 2025 for the Global 2033 Conference in Ambaciatori Palace Hotel where a private car drove them there for more than an hour.
They were met by TLF Manila delegates Grace Pancho, Joy Tadeo, Camille, Teresa Almendrala and Zacky Angeles who arrived on May 4, 2025 (evening) in Rome. The whole group had dinner at a restaurant across the hotel ready for the conference.
