Day 1: Arrival and Meeting with leaders
The mission team led by The Lord’s Flock Elder Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez with the Molinas: Joey (Europe Regional Coordinator), Joy (International Outreach coordinator) and their son, Albert, arrived in Cologne-Bonn Airport on May 26, 2025. They took a van going to their hotel as they had five (5) big luggage, three (3) hand-carry luggage, and three (3) personal bags.
Arriving at Hotel Bonn City, the mission team were warmly welcomed by TLF Bonn chapter leader Lyka Jane Dela Cruz and her friend Geralyn Bilbar who brought flowers for Soar and the team. They encountered difficulty at the hotel because there was no reception area and the hotel door was locked. Joy Molina had to call the hotel for instructions until they finally received their key and room number 330 on the third floor with an elevated floor (three additional steps) located at the end of a long hallway. Joey and Albert Molina alternately helped carry the luggage since there was no elevator.
Somewhat tired, Soar still met Lyka and Geralyn. Initially, they talked casually (as this was the first time Soar met Geralyn). Soar was pleased when Lyka showed the invitation (she created) for the next day’s event “conversations”. As they continued, Lyka and Geralyn were unaware that Soar provided them a shortened version of Spirit Empowerment Seminar. They openly participated and responded particularly the reading of the Bible.
Joey and Joy Molina shared their powerful testimonies about God’s love and how the Lord has transformed them.
The night continued with a song, receiving anew the Holy Spirit and praying over (Lyka and Geralyn). It was concluded with moments of personal peace and joy as individual and group hugs were given among themselves.
Day 2: “Conversations” with Bonn Chapter
Pastoral Visit invitation for “conversations” was propagated by The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Bonn Chapter Steward Lyka Jane Dela Cruz. The event was held on May 27, 2025 at St. Peter Church in Bonn City, Germany. It was intended to introduce the Lord’s Flock community to attendees and to give them the opportunity to meet TLF Elder Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez.
When Soar, together with Joy Molina, TLF Las Vegas Steward arrived at the venue, they were welcomed and given bouquets of flowers by Lyka Jane and her friend Claire Feliz (who would attend for the first time). The room was big and perfect for worship gatherings. A piano caught Soar’s attention and she started playing it while waiting for other attendees to arrive.
While breakfast was served, Soar started sharing stories of faith and even called (via messenger) Co-Founder Froilan Hong to share his life testimony. Later, they were joined by Sheila Panganiban, a member of the TLF Bonn Chapter.
A combined Retreat and Sprit Empowerment Seminar was given by Soar to fill them with more knowledge about Jesus and to imbibe a personal love relationship with God. Then, Soar baptized them in the Spirit and celebrated their spiritual birthday.
In the end, they were prayed over and were encouraged to be more patient with their current situation. Soar boosted their confidence to invite more people to join them in their chapter.
Day 3: From Bonn to Rome
International outreach coordinator, Joy Molina booked a late flight on May 28, 2025 from Cologne (Bonn Germany) to Rome for The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Elder Founder Techie Soar Rodriguez and the Molinas to make sure they could fully rest after long days of service. It was a challenging morning, as hotel receptionist (where they stayed) reminded them that they had to leave the room by 11am. As the whole group woke up late and tired, they hurried to prep up, to pack, and to weigh five (5) big luggage, three (3) hand-carry luggage and four (4) personal bags. Without elevator, Joey Molina had to slide down the big luggage while Albert and Joy Molina alternately waited to catch them down.
At Cologne Bonn Airport, more challenges happened to the mission team as the airline could not find the baggage allowance intended for Soar, even after she showed her partner airline status which should have honoured her three (3) free baggage. As Joy Molina was trying to resolve the issue, the airline agent said they had to pay almost €300 for the baggage to be checked in. While everyone prayed, waited, and talked appreciatively, the agent only charged €155 and the gate agents were informed that all baggage issues were settled. Praise God!
The flight to Rome was delayed. When the mission team arrived at Rome Fiumicino Airport, one of their baggage was missing and was reported lost. When they checked with Baggage Office, they were informed the luggage fell while being transported from the airplane to baggage claim. It took almost an hour to deliver the damaged and taped baggage. After leaving the airport, the mission team was warmly welcomed by TLF Rome chapter leader Nimfa Banag, together with Alex Fernandez, Dennis Antipolo and Judith Almendrala. Because of the long delay, they related how they waited that the ladies requested their driver to pull over at the side of the expressway and had “bathroom break” at the grassy fields covered only by an umbrella.
The hotel stay presented challenges again for the mission team; the small elevator could only accommodate two to three (2-3) luggage and three (3) people inside. Their room was on the fifth floor, but elevator only went up to the 4th floor. They had to take two flights of steep marbled steps before they could get to their room. Alex and Dennis were there to help Joey and Albert in carrying the luggage up the room. Since everyone was hungry, the whole group tried to fit themselves in the small elevator. They chose a restaurant next to their hotel where Soar started discussions with Nimfa over dinner. The meeting continued at their hotel room and ended with a closing prayer led by Soar.
To God be the Glory!
