WALK WITH JESUS | THE LORD’S FLOCK LENTEN RECOLLECTION | GOOD FRIDAY | April 18,2025

Dinky Florentino, moderator of “The Good Friday Recollection” at The Lord’s Flock Heritage’s Sanctuary, warmly welcomed the physical and virtual audiences (local and international members). He reviewed the previous day’s topic about the true meaning of life in God: Walk with Jesus: Rediscover, Reconnect and Reflect on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Ronald Tapia, of the Psalm Ministry with the Koros, passionately sang and danced to glorify God.

Mik Rodriguez-Flores (Head Servant of TLF) talked about spiritual “drainedness” using phone battery as a metaphor. She underscored the destructive forces: worldly pleasures and sin, and outlined steps to connect with the power of resurrection:

  1. Trusting
  2. Relinquishing Life
  3. Exchanging Life
  4. Living distinctively
  5. Living a Life of victory

Her talk concluded with a spirit- filled powerful prayer.

Following Mik’s talk, Emma and Gem Espina (Brethren Group) shared their journey of faith and perseverance. After Emma’s miscarriage, the couple prayed and welcomed their daughter “Taly”, (born prematurely at 31 weeks). They held onto Psalms 46:10:”Be still and know that I am God.” Moreover, they valued tithing as trusting in God amidst challenges. Hence, their testimony encouraged connection with God (1 Cor. 10:13).

The second speaker, Bishop Emeritus Honesto “Nes” Ongtioco emphasized the importance of staying connected with God: I am the vine; you are the branches (Jn. 15:5). He urged the audience to rediscover Jesus and let go of sins that enslave and destroy their life. In addition, he highlighted the liberating power of forgiveness because God’s love is unconditional. Hence, we experience life’s true purpose and fruitfulness.

Keith Malhabour (Pastoral Ministry) shared his health challenges with type 2 diabetes, finding comfort in God’s presence during his hospital stay. Moreover, Jen Malhabour added that despite financial burdens, God provided provisions through people who supported them; thus, they learned to trust and glorify God for His sovereignty and goodness.

The Lord’s Flock Elder-Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez concluded the event with a heartfelt exhortation, highlighting the Lord’s goodness in the TLF Community. She reminded everyone to continue trusting, rediscovering, and reconnecting with God daily. The event ended with a powerful note, leaving attendees with renewed hearts and a deeper connection to God, carrying the teachings with them in their daily lives.
