ko The Lord’s Flock East Chapter celebrated its 6th Year Anniversary last October 7, 2023, at the Formation Center of the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Diocesan Shrine and Parish, Antipolo City.
The Lord’s Flock Psalm Ministry led with praise and worship and this was followed by the welcome message of the amiable and supportive Parish Priest, Rev. Msgr. Henry Mediarito. The event was highlighted by a one-day Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES). TLF Elder-Founder, Sis Techie “Soar” Rodriguez graced the occasion by giving the SES Introduction and delivered two topics” “God’s Love” and “Salvation.” The other powerful speakers and their topics were Sis. Te Florentino (“Receiving God’s Gift”), Sis. Judith Almendrala (“New Life”), Bro. Bert Gamez (“Growth”), and Bro. Jess Advincula (“Transformation”).
Sis. Techie decided to hold a separate session for the youth and singles (since they numbered 40% of participants) with Bro. Kent Galido as speaker.
Sis Lulu Perele led the Baptism in the Spirit which ended with a glorious and joyful experience for the 60 participants. After the last speaker, Sis. May, the moderator led the closing prayer and reminded the participants to continue their spiritual journey with the Lord by attending the next seminar on “Maturing in the Spirit” scheduled for the following Fridays.
The success of the SES was made possible by the dedication and hard work of the leaders and workers of the TLF East who distributed flyers in church, in buses, along the streets, and in their neighborhood. Most importantly, the spiritual preparation also included prayers, confession, and fasting.
The participants and the committed workers of TLF East were filled not only spiritually with God’s Word but also with an abundance of food to celebrate their 6th year anniversary. Indeed, when you commit to the Lord whatever you do, your plans will succeed (Proverbs 16:3).
