TLF Anointing

Anointing as an act of consecration is solemnized by the Elders of the Community intended for workers to sanctify them to work willingly for the glory of God. In particular, the anointing last August 21,2022 at the Heritage Sanctuary witnessed the Elders of the
Community, Sis Techie and Bro Bobby with Bro Froi, Senior Head Servant at the helm of leading the congregation in prayers for the workers’ continued faith and support for the Lord’s Flock (TLF) community. Hence, the TLF anointing is a solemn ceremony signifying the workers’ intention to serve God with sincerity, commitment and determination. Similarly incorporated in this event were Commissioning Rites and Bro Bobby’s Spiritual birthday.

The ceremony commenced with Bro Ronald Tapia, as the worship leader who led the lively rendition of praise & worship songs. Moreover, Bro Raymund, Head Steward, reported the TLF accomplishments for the month of July encompassing international and local ministries and chapters. Other pertinent matters included community’s pecuniary collection vis-à-vis monthly expenses, the Heritage update (with video), the recently concluded Bible Certificate Seminar (cum “after quiz/test”), and the ongoing Spirit empowerment Seminar (SES). One of the highlights of the event was the honoring of Bro Bob’s (Tatay) 42nd Spiritual Birthday. TLF members from local (Cebu, Davao & Bislig) and international chapters warmly greeted him with words of endearment. On his end, Tatay Bob alluded his spiritual metamorphosis to God who has profusely blessed his family through the years. In his message, he exhorted the meaning of “generosity” translated into one’s commitment, determination, and utmost sincerity to serve God through the community. He further added that God could truly equate service into bountiful blessings aligned to the plans He has intended for His children (Jer. 29:11).

In addition, the Commissioning Rites of Harvest Genesis signaled the entry of new members to the community dedicated for service. Sis Techie (Sor) who led the prayers with Bro Froi underscored the significance of service with determination, sincerity & commitment. She reminded that they should grow in the mindset of God; they should die to oneself and subsequently develop an abounding faith in Him. As heirs/children of God, they should be witnesses of their own transformed lives to invite others to the
community and enjoy the spiritual life they truly deserve.

Finally, the “anointing” as the crux of the solemn event demonstrated the TLF workers determination, sincerity and commitment to serve God through the community. Sor prompted them to pray fervently, to be consistently obedient, not to grow weary and be attuned to the plan of God in propagating the faith. As the procession of the Blessed Sacrament ensued, everyone was deep in prayer and reflection immersing in the presence of God as the smell of incense wafted the air. Everyone left the sanctuary with joy and peace in their hearts ready to reiterate their determination, commitment &
sincerity to God through their dedicated service in the community.

To God be the glory!
