The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held its Worship and Singles Ingathering at the Koinonia last September 26, 2026. The topic was Accountability & Community: “An iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). The gathering was blessed by Dr./Sis. Marie Barrientos Regala, anointed speaker for this event. Without doubt, it was a day of learning on how to grow and walk spiritually together and how to hold each other up in times of adversity.
Initially, Sis. Rowena Bautista (Small Group Leader) led the joyful praise songs, a reminder that God is perpetually good and does not abandon us amidst our trials. Meanwhile, Sis Jean Sorejido directed the opening prayer. Then, Sis. Marie, Head Steward, delivered a powerful message to the Singles purposely to tackle the three (3) Fold Mission:
- Priestly Office: offering our lives to God
- Prophetic Office: proclaiming the faith
- Kingly office: recognizing God is God of order
Moreover, as members, we need to be accountable within our small group and in the community so as to work together to build strong trust and shared experiences where an individual and groups can thrive.
Further, Sis. Ella Valenzuela and Bro. Nelson Payos emceed the event with a total of thirty (30) attendees and two guests. Indeed, the gathering touched many hearts and renewed their hope to remain faithful no matter what challenges they encounter. Thereafter, they shared their love offering and tithes.
Particularly, Sis Angelita Ranay, led the color jump game, a fun and engaging activity.
Also, as part of their fellowship, members shared Jollibee spaghetti as their snacks. Finally, the gathering ended with a photo opportunity.
Hence, as Christ’s followers, witnessing for Christ is the vital act of sharing gospel and our personal experience of God’s love and salvation not only for us but for others as well. In the same way, the singles’ group (as a whole) has been called to sharpen one another spiritually and to bring more people closer to God.
