Mission USA: The Finale June 27 – 30, 2023

After five hectic and fulfilling weeks, Sis. Techie Rodriguez (Elder-Founder of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Community) did not let up on her last week which she spent in Burbank, Los Angeles. It happened from June 27 to 30, 2023.  It was truly a fulfilling spiritual experience from members and forthcoming ones from East & West Coast chapters.  Mission USA was indeed an astounding success.

“Grow Series”

On Wednesday, Jun 28th, Sis Techie did one last Grow teaching “Jesus Borrowed and Returned” to the LA Chapter at the Holy Family Parish. Her talk was followed by a farewell program, tearful hugs, tokens of appreciation from the Chapter led by Stewards Janet Dequito, Monina Letargo and Jimmy Esplanda.  Sis Techie reiterated her “unspeakable joy” that the Mission was successful in rekindling all the chapters and that the LORD is the true winner! She also praised the current leaders who are doing a great job in steering and caring for the flock. They concluded the evening by collectively singing “The Mission” song: “to love the Lord our God is the heartbeat of our mission… all around the world, the mission’s still the same, to pray and live the truth in Jesus’ name.”

Despedida on a Yacht

The Bakersfield Chapter hosted a despedida lunch on Wednesday on a yacht at the Marina del Rey.  Stewards Bro.Gerard Parayno, Sis.  Marlyn Santos,  Sis. Liza Fortun and host Bro.  Peter Uson brought the homecooked Pinoy cuisine. The Mission team, Sis. Techie, Bro. Froi, Sis. Judith and Bro Jess, boarded the yacht and were joined by Sis Techie’s sisters Carmella and Marita and the Los Angeles (LA) Chapter members. Everyone enjoyed the feast, the breezy weather, and most of all the fellowship.

Molina’s Family Reunion

A fitting finale to the five-week Mission was Sis Techie’s thanksgiving dinner with her siblings at an Italian restaurant. The evening was highlighted by the REKINDLE Chant by all the siblings. Truly, it was heartwarming reunion for Sis Techie with her younger brothers and sisters after four-years.

Mission Accomplished

Overall, the primary Mission, the Spirit Empowerment Seminar, was a huge success! With the five (5) seminars conducted from the East Coast – in New Jersey & Brooklyn, to the West Coast – Daly City, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Bakersfield and Las Vegas, over 330 members and guests were renewed. Ninety-seven (97) candidates received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, 48 youth and children attended the Youth Empowerment Seminar.

To God be the glory!
