On a Holy-Spirit-filled Sunday, February 5, The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (TLF) Elder-Founder and Vision-Holder, Sis Techie Rodriguez (Soar), conducted a Healing Conference: Customized Family Curses at the San Lorenzo Hall of the Basilica di Santa Prudenziana, Via Ubana 160, Rome, Italy. The Conference was an enlightening topic about the legacy of blessings and curses interspersed with personal testimonies by Soar’s companions.
Attendance by Five (5) Charismatic Groups in Rome
The Conference was surprisingly fully-packed although it was spread simply by word-of-mouth. Bro Johnson Marcelo (Federation Fellowship of Catholic Charismatic Communities in Rome and former TLF Member) helped organize the event, which attracted over a hundred brothers and sisters from the five (5) Catholic Charismatic groups in Rome: (1) San Rafaele Archangel Charismatic Community, (2) The Living Tabernacle Charismatic Prayer Group, (3) The Loved Flock La Salute Rome Chapter, (4) Pag-ibig Kay Hesus Catholic Charismatic Community, and (5) Friends of DABAR Catholic Charismatic International Ministry. Strikingly, the Healing Conference was able to unite these prayer groups in an unprecedented single event.
Customized Family Curses
The Conference started with video presentations to introduce Sis Techie, her journey in the charismatic renewal, and the creation of the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community in the Philippines and its growth internationally over three decades. Subsequently, Soar delved deeply into what curses are, how they are passed on from generation to generation, and the good news that curses can be averted/stopped through repentant prayers and supplication. The topic was further illuminated by personal sharings of Sis Dra Grace Pancho (TLF Evangelize Ministry) and Bro Atty. Mel Velasco (TLF Heralds Ministry) regarding their respective family struggles because of inter-generational family curses. Additionally, Bro Joey and Sis Joy Molina (TLF Las Vegas Chapter) provided testimony about giving/tithing, obedience and how God planted them in Las Vegas to help the TLF Chapter grow in membership and thrive.
The attendees were further awed by the miracle story of the LF Heritage Worship and Spiritual Formation Center in Quezon City, Philippines, a testament to God’s blessings to the Community.
Sis Techie culminated the event with a Prayer against Curses which impacted the whole crowd, many of them crying for joy and praise, as they welcomed liberation from sin and curses.
Fellowships and Meetings
The event was so successful that the people clamored to talk to Sis Techie after the conference and she spent an hour with them before leaving the place.
Another fruit of this event was the meeting with Father Rene Silgas (Parrochia Assunzione di Mari in Via Spartaco, Rome), who gave the final blessing for the event. Sis Techie was overjoyed with his invitation for TLF to explore the possibility of establishing a Chapter in his parish.

A new contact in Rome, Sis Nimfa Banag, was so blessed by the Holy Spirit, that she was inspired to connect Soar with Fr. Aris Miranda, MI, a Filipino Camillian priest at the Sant Maria Maddalena Parish, across the Pantheon (one of Rome’s prominent tourist sites) to consider other evangelization endeavors.
