Joshuas and Timothys: Training The Lord’s Flock’s New Generation of Heralds December 8, 2023

In a rare leading by the Holy Spirit, Lord’s Flock Elder-Founder, Ma. Theresa “Soar” Molina-Rodriguez, called for a training of young members who she personally handpicked from TLF’s Singles and New Generation groups to become Heralds.  Young Heralds are needed to proclaim the Word of God to the youth in the various chapters.

Twenty-nine trainees responded to Soar’s call for the training held on December 8, 2023, at the TLF Lobby. Sis. Judith Almendrala (New Generation Steward) led the praising; while Sis. Grace Pancho (Evangelize Asst. Head Steward) acted as the event’s moderator.

Soar introduced the event as an opportunity from the Lord to train more young people. She called the trainees “Joshuas” and “Timothys” who have been chosen by God to serve Him and continue His mission. In her prayer, Soar invoked the Holy Spirit to relay God’s message to them; to anoint each person to be inspired and not fear; to enable them to listen carefully; and to fill each member with His presence and one desire – to know more about God.

While Soar was preparing the topics for the training, the Holy Spirit led her to give introductory discussions on: Benefits of Knowing God’s Word; Mentoring to Become Heralds; Strategies to Preaching; and Methods of Preaching.

To help develop the trainees’ confidence, Soar interspersed her topics with practical exercise whereby each member shared in front of the group how God has transformed his/her life.

Soar ended the training session with an important assignment for everyone: learn to listen to God by developing their prayer life and writing a prayer journal every day.

To God be the glory!
