An annual TLF event tagged as “Facing” appraises the community’s performance by way of the workers’ accomplishment for the entire year.  It is a sacred recommitment of one’s obligation and assigned responsibilities in the community regardless of status and position. It redirects the community in the path it should take for a particular year. This year’s Facing (2023) carries the theme of “Rekindle” as inspired by the Holy Spirit through our Elder, Sis Techie “Sor.” She emphasized that the passion to fan the flame should persist and be rekindled (2 Tim.1:6).  Hence, “Facing 2023” held at Heritage Sanctuary last January 15 showcased the community’s direction (previous & current) exemplified by TLF appointed leaders/workers commitment to their responsibilities, aligned to the community’s mission and vision.

The program hosts of this momentous event, Bro Dinky & Sis May Barcita warmly welcomed the TLF family both local and global (via Zoom). Sis Judith Almendrala with the Psalm Ministry fervently rendered Praise and Worship songs to the delight of the audience. Then, Bro Bobby “Tatay Bob” in his opening address reminded the TLF community the peace of God which transcended amidst the pandemic and the consequent strength and undeniable nurture of faith in God. Moreover, Sis Techie “Sor” underscored God’s blessings (tithes/offerings) despite the COVID-19 outbreak   and consistent participation of members by way of online communication (Zoom). Sor further emphasized the rekindling of passion, that is, to fan the flame of service and dedication to the community, an antidote to the perceived complacency (2 Tim.1:6).

Next, the procession of last year’s devoted leaders ensued: a reminder of community’s powerhouse of steadfast workers.  The awarding of faithful servants was also given due attention, both local and international, followed by a tribute to the Shepherds of the Flock, Tatay Bob and Sor, recipients of tokens from various ministries. TLF Tarlac Chapter was awarded “Most Promising Chapter for 2022.  TLF local & international   dance numbers accelerated the audience’s fervor. In addition, video review of notable past events was shown, tagged as Lord’s Flock in retrospect. Furthermore, the TLF Annual Report covered financial collection, the Heritage construction update, and the recent success of Dubai and Abu Dhabi Mission.

Finally, a solemn ceremony of Consecration and Installation of this year’s leaders/workers realized their intentions through certificates certifying their sacred commitment.
