Praise and Worship
Last Friday, September 11, 2026, the Bakersfield Chapter held its Worship and Gathering at St. Francis Church. The gathering was blessed by the presence of The Elder Founder and Vision Holder Techie Rodriguez (Soar) with her husband, Elder Founder, Roberto Rodriguez (Tatay Bob), along with Sis. Judith Almendrala, Elder’s Outreach Steward, of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (Manila).
The gathering began with joyful Psalm Ministry Praise and Worship led by Sis. Marlyn Santos, Steward of Bakersfield. The congregation actively participated in singing and dancing, creating a Spirit-filled atmosphere. It was a momentous event that showcased the significance of Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) and punctuated by the Praise and Worship gathering bringing joy, peace and delight among its members.
Soar delivered the message, “Miracle Beyond Human Measure,” reminding everyone that while human abilities and resources are limited, God is limitless. She encouraged the congregation to overcome negativity, fear, and doubt by strengthening their faith and trusting in God’s promises and provision.
The gathering concluded with a special Grandparents’ Day Celebration. Many senior members were honored through a special prayer of blessing and gifts from the community. The celebration was filled with joy, fellowship, and gratitude, making it a meaningful and memorable occasion for everyone.
Spirit Empowerment Seminar
The following day, September 12, 2026, the Bakersfield Chapter held the Spirit Empowerment Seminar at St. Francis Church. More than 18 new delegates attended the seminar. Some came with curiosity, while others were sincerely seeking God’s Word and a deeper understanding of faith.
The seminar opened with an amazing Spirit-filled Praise and Worship led by Sis. Marlyn Santos, Steward of Bakersfield, with the Bakersfield Psalm Ministry. The energetic and engaging moderator, Bro. Jimmy Esplanada, Steward Los Angeles Chapter, helped create a warm atmosphere and captured the attention of the delegates as the program began.
Sis. Techie Rodriguez introduced the history, mission, and vision of The Lord’s Flock Community, while sharing her powerful testimony of faith and transformation. Her message reminded everyone that God is our healer, provider, and redeemer, and that His love has no boundaries. She also shared her personal journey of faith, including struggles from her past and how God transformed her life. Her testimony served as an inspiring reminder of God’s grace, faithfulness, and power to change lives.
Moreover, she emphasized that God grants us free will and intellect to make our own choices. Life will bring storms and trials, but these challenges can strengthen our faith and prepare us to remain faithful. Further, she reminded everyone that sometimes people fail simply because they give up too soon.
The seminar ended with a powerful reminder: our storms are not meant to break us, but to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to God. The gathering touched many hearts, renewed hope, and inspired the delegates to persevere, trust God, and to remain faithful no matter what challenges they may face. It was a truly blessed and Spirit-filled encounter—one that planted seeds of faith and hope in every heart.
