The Lord’s Flock Heritage on No. 5 Catanduanes Street, Quezon City hosted their very first Men’s Night: “INUMEN” (In Union with Fellow Men through Christ) on July 17, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Inumen which is a word coinage (from “inuman,” and “men”) is the Filipino term for a male drinking session, recast as brotherhood built on faith rather than alcohol. TLF Ministry Stewards organized the event for male members and invited guests, joined by Community Founder “Soar” and Elder Tatay Bob. Worship, life testimonies, and shared meals carried one message through the evening: brotherhood in Christ heals old wounds and calls every man to mission.
Initially, registration of attendees officially opened the night. Young Adult Steward Russel issued name tag stickers at the booth beside the entrance door, while Steward Ryan Regala was assigned to oversee food and drinks: pancit, lumpiang shanghai, pizza, and fruit soda, served early. Steward Bong Faisan then led an icebreaker, grouping men by shared hobbies as a way to introduce themselves. Moreover, warm lighting and karaoke-night decor with hanging lights, tuned toward worship rather than entertainment, framed the room; music stayed loud enough for energy, soft enough to spare the neighborhood.
Bro. Emman Almendrala (Koros Ministry), Bro. Ronald Tapia (Psalm Ministry), and Bro. Kim Uy (Koros Ministry) led the opening praise and worship. Raymund Nobleza, the event’s moderator, outlined the Great Commission, tracing the baptismal formula and Christ’s call to make disciples. He urged the men toward evangelization (in Filipino): “Hindi niyo kailangan maging sobrang maalam sa Bible para makapag-evangelize. Hindi kailangan na overly dramatic na buhay para makapag-witness. Lahat tayo may kanya-kanyang story.” (English Translation: You don’t need deep Bible knowledge to evangelize. Your life doesn’t need to be overly dramatic to witness. Each of us has a story). Then, he invited the men to bring others to the upcoming Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) on August 1 & 2, 2026.
Four testimonies followed, each closing with a song. Bro Cel Lansangan, a Kapampangan previously based in the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) Chapter was the first to share his testimony recounting a robbery incident, a near-drowning event, and a road accident which he recognized as episodes of God’s protection. He credited the community with sustaining his marriage despite family challenges. In addition, he had a harrowing ordeal which deepened his faith and gratitude to God during a prostate surgery. It resulted in breathing complications during his recovery. However, he anchors his faith in Matthew 7: 7-8 (“For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened“) and 1 Corinthians 10:13 (“every test or temptation you face is normal for humans, God is completely reliable, and He always provides a way to escape or endure it”). He then ended his narrative with a song: “He will Carry You” by Scott Wesley.
Similarly, Jess Advincula (a member of the Heralds Ministry and a steward of the Meeting Tent) followed, recalling a career spent chasing money. After his renewal, he has re-focused on gratitude amidst hardship and exhorted that wisdom from God leaves no problem unconquered. He closed with the song “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” referring to the Lord who he discovered later in his life through the Lord’s Flock.
Equally, Bro. Eric, newly married, recalled a childhood marked by his parents’ constant arguments and a family that hardly practiced the Catholic faith. His unfortunate experience turned him against the idea of marriage. However, encountering Christ changed that view because he now believes that through marriage blessings overflow within the family. Previously, he rarely attended Mass, but now he never misses it. He thanked the community for his transformation. At that point, his testimony was wrapped up with “You’ll Be Safe Here” by Rivermaya, igniting the crowd’s excitement and prompting calls for one more song.
Kim Uy was the last to share his narrative. He emphasized that fourteen (14) years of community life has not fostered overnight transformation, but rather a slow, steady growth through TLF teachings. He added that he is not proud of the salary he is earning but rather his support in providing the needs of his family, The testimony ended with a song “Heaven Knows” by Orange and Lemons.
Finally, Tatay Bob sponsored a raffle for men who attended the gathering. Worship and photo opportunities closed the night. One attendee said his life changed the moment he joined The Lord’s Flock, a Catholic Charismatic Community known for its people of faith.
Indeed, INUMEN turned worship into welcome and four (4) private struggles into shared testimony. Bro. Raymund’s challenge outlasted the night: no man needs expertise to evangelize, only a story and every man in the room already had one.
