A Warm and Exciting Arrival
Sis. Techie Rodriguez (Soar), Elder-Founder, and vision holder of The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Community, together with Sis. Judith Almendrala (Elder’s Outreach Steward), arrived on Tuesday evening, August 25, 2026, at Tom Bradley International Airport in Los Angeles, California, for a month-long outreach across the East and West Coasts TLF Communities. They were warmly welcomed by her beloved spouse Bro. Bobby Rodriguez, Elder and Founder, along with Sis. Efleda Lavilla, Bro. Jimmy Esplanada, and Sis. Winnie Palaca of the Los Angeles (LA) Chapter.
Upon their arrival, they proceeded to the home of Marieta Jones (Soar’s sister) in Burbank as her official residence. Sis. Mik Flores (Soar’s daughter), TLF Head Servant, along with RJ (Marieta’s son), were also present to extend their warm welcome. This outreach is filled with opportunities to minister, encourage, equip, and strengthen the brethren. Similarly, Soar will conduct Spirit Empowerment Seminars in several East Coast locations—including Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, and Brooklyn—as well as on the West Coast in Bakersfield and Dublin.
The West Coast ministry activities will also include Facing 2026, followed by the much‑anticipated International Retreat on September 18–20, 2026, at Forest Home, 4000 Valley of the Falls Drive, Forest Falls, California.
As our Elder and Founder travels from one place to another, we are reminded that this is more than a journey—it is a mission entrusted by God.
Welcome Fellowship: A Miracle Beyond Human Measurement
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
Less than 24 hours after arriving in LA, Soar wasted no time in meeting and fellowshipping with the members of the LA Chapter. Her arrival marked the beginning of the outreach, and even before she could settle in, she was tending to the community’s concerns. Her activities included meeting with the Executive Committee (Execom) Zoom meeting in Manila – demonstrating her dedication to the Lord’s work wherever she is needed.
During the fellowship, Soar shared an inspiring message entitled “Miracle Beyond Human Measurement.” Drawing from the Word of God, she reminded the community that God is not limited by human calculations, circumstances, resources, or impossibilities. She shared the verse of Zechariah 2:1–5, where Zechariah saw a man with a measuring line setting limit on Jerusalem. However, the passage revealed that God’s plans and purposes far exceeded human understanding. The Lord declared that Jerusalem would be inhabited as a city without walls because of the multitude of people—and because He Himself would be a wall of fire around it and its glory within.
Soar also encouraged the members through Ephesians 3:20, which declares that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. She further shared 2 Corinthians 9:8, reminding everyone that “God is able to bless His people abundantly so that, having all they need, they can abound in every good work.” These Scriptures have become a powerful reminder to the LA Chapter that God’s ability cannot be measured by human limitations. What may appear impossible to man is never impossible with God. Thus, His provision is sufficient; His power is unlimited, and His plans are always greater than what we can see.
Moreover, the fellowship also became a sacred moment of prayer. Soar personally prayed over the members of the LA Chapter, for healing, restoration, strength, and renewed faith.
As prayers were lifted, the atmosphere was filled with faith and expectancy. The members were reminded that healing ultimately comes from the Lord, whose power reaches beyond every diagnosis, circumstance, and human limitation.
For the community, the activity was more than simply a gathering to welcome Soar, but it was a divine appointment. In less than 24 hours, the Lord had already opened doors for the outreach team. From participating in an Execom meeting in Manila to ministering the members in LA community, Soar’s first few hours in California demonstrated a life committed to the Kingdom’s work. The message was clear: When God is at work, there are no limits to what He can do. Truly, it is a miracle beyond human measurement.
Worship Gathering in Los Angeles: Prepare to Cross Over
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you” — (Deuteronomy 31:6).
The LA Chapter was blessed with a meaningful Worship Service as Soar shared a timely and powerful message entitled “Prepare to Cross Over.” Drawing from Numbers 13–14, she reminded the members that “crossing over requires faith, obedience, courage, and trust in God, even when the road ahead is uncertain.” She highlighted how Joshua was personally commissioned by God to lead the next generation into the Promised Land. Just as God had been with Moses, He promised to be with Joshua. This assurance has become a powerful encouragement to the LA Chapter: God’s presence does not end with one generation—He continues His work through those who are willing to obey and carry the mission forward.
Additionally, she encouraged the members to obey God, remain in the community, and stay steadfast while the leaders are called to lead by example, especially during challenging seasons. Indeed, trials are not meant to destroy us; God can use it to transform our character, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for what lies ahead. She also reminded the brethren not to rebel against the Lord when circumstances become difficult. God may not reveal every detail of His plan, but He calls us to trust Him even when we cannot see what is ahead. We are not to be afraid, because God’s presence goes before us. Hence, the call is to remain faithful, courageous, and committed.
She further reminded everyone that godliness means satisfaction—learning to be content in God, trusting His provision, and finding our greatest treasure in Him rather than in circumstances or material things. The message of “Prepare to Cross Over” is therefore not simply about entering a new place; it is a call to enter a new season of faith and obedience. Thus, the next generation must be prepared; leaders must remain steadfast, and God’s people must continue moving forward together, trusting that the Lord will fulfill His promises.
Celebrating Eight Decades of Soar
Following the worship service, the LA Stewards, coordinators, and members surprised Soar for a post 80th birthday. The celebration was more than a birthday tribute; it was a celebration of thanksgiving of her life poured out for Jesus and His people – a life marked by her faithfulness, sacrifice, leadership, and her unwavering “yes” to God’s calling.
Then, the members shared a beautiful tribute to Soar through her initials: S — servant-hearted (a heart that continuously chooses to serve God and His people), O — obedient (a life committed to following God’s will even in difficulty), A — Anointed (a servant empowered by God’s presence and a grace to touch and transform lives), and finally, R — rising to soar high (continuing to rise above challenges, embracing God’s purposes, and moving forward in faith).
Truly, Soar’s journey has been a testimony. Its service has been a legacy. Its “yes” has been a blessing, and its life continues to soar for the glory of God. As the LA Chapter celebrated this remarkable milestone, the gathering became a beautiful reminder that a life surrendered to God can influence generations. The legacy of Soar is not measured simply in years, but in lives touched, people empowered, faith strengthened, and future generations prepared to carry the work forward. Soar’s presence reminded the members that the journey continues. We are walking to the Promised Land, a generation to lead and a calling to fulfill.
Prepare to cross over. Trust God. Remain steadfast. Do not be afraid, and continue to SOAR for His glory.
