“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you… he will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17).
The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community hosted its first Young Adult In-Gathering of 2026. Themed” Ka-Vibes: Anong Love Language Mo?”, the event explored love’s many forms. Moderators Bea Baclig (Psalm Ministry) and Alexis Bagaipo (Koros Ministry) welcomed the attendees, while Nico Moleta (Psalm Ministry) and the ministry teams led the opening Praise & Worship. It was an event replete with joy, camaraderie, recognition, and forms of love languages channeled through God’s service.
Initially, Peter Valino (Production P.A.) facilitated the “Red Flags” icebreaker. In this game, teams created “ideal dates” which opponents sabotaged with “Red Flags.” Volunteer/Judge Dr. Grace Pancho (Psalm Ministry) selected the winners, illustrating how God chooses His children despite their imperfections.
Moreover, the community introduced the 2026 stewards: Presiding Steward Nelson Payos, Core Steward Regine Baclig, Joselito Fainsan, Claudine Fontanilla, Edel Patdu, and Judelyn Retiro. Then, Speaker Bong Fainsan discussed Gary Chapman’s The Five Love Languages, challenging the youth to reciprocate God’s love through service.
Over lunch, delegates shared insights from the S.V.D. Word Youth Summit 2026, reminding the group that “to whom much is given, much is required.” In addition, Nelson Payos prayed over the January celebrants, serenaded by the entire young adults with a birthday song. Following announcements for the year, the gathering concluded with prayer and a photo opportunity to invite more for the community’s upcoming In Gathering this February.
Indeed, it is God’s boundless love (treasuring us daily) that fights the battles we cannot. Truly, His touch calms the quaking soul; thus, His voice does not merely accept us but celebrates us with joy.
