Women’s Conference: “Arise to Pray” (2 of 2 articles) | July27,2025

The Intercessory Ministry was blessed to have a Breakout Station during the Arise Women’s Conference held last July 27 (Sunday) at TLF Heritage. Sis. Grace Delos Santos, Ministry Steward, was the Manager of the “Arise to Pray” station located at the Sanctuary.  In this station, participants who yearned for peace could lift their hearts (their intentions in prayer) and raise their spiritual strength to the Lord with the mighty intercessors of the Ministry.

Pre-Event

Before the event, the Ministry prayed to the Holy Spirit for guidance on what should be done to assist/guide participants who would come. Stewards and Cell Group Leaders of the Ministry convened to discuss the matter and planned the actions to be taken. Since the foremost service of the Ministry is to intercede for others, a one-on-one prayer and face-to- face set-up were considered the main options. The writing of prayer requests on a piece of paper, to be prayed by the ministry, was also a possibility.  Additionally, the Ministry would provide gifts to the participants to inspire them to connect with God in prayer.

“Arise to Pray”

Moreover, during the breakout session, eleven intercessors who were seated separately were assigned to pray for the participants and to wait for them (participants) to sit at their front. Then, they would lift up the participants’ concerns with a powerful prayer full of faith and authority. After the prayer session, participants registered their names in the list; some wrote their prayer requests on a piece of paper and dropped them in the prayer box (to be prayed later by the ministry). In addition, a token of appreciation, composed of pre-blessed religious articles (donated and prepared by the generous members of the ministry) were given to each participant.  At the end, the Ministry catered to 61 guests and member- participants.

Finally, the other intercessors continuously prayed and interceded in the prayer room in alternate succession. In one spirit, with joy and gladness in their hearts, they lifted up the smooth flow and the success of the on-going activities in the Sanctuary.  They lifted the participants to arise in spirit, in body, and in their creativity for the glory of God. True enough, the Lord heard the persistent prayers of the faithful intercessors. The Conference turned out to be a success. God revealed His goodness, and, His power prevailed, in Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

To God be the Glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
