The Lord’s Flock Charismatic Catholic Community EAST Hub (TLF East Hub) is a growing and active community, and is pleased to issue a summary of their activities in April 2025.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER MEETING
Geared up for an exciting and activity-filled month, TLF East conducted their monthly virtual Intercessory Prayer Meeting on April 1st, attended by the chapter’s Advisers, Stewards and members.
The online prayer gathering, held every first week of every month, enabled the congregation to worship with thanksgiving, and to faithfully submit to God the different community and personal prayer intentions.
The prayer meeting commenced with an Opening Prayer, the solemn recitation of personal prayer requests and the Holy Rosary to accentuate the devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, seeking her loving guidance, protection and powerful intercession. Thereafter, the assigned members led the various community prayers.
SMALL GROUP MEETING
The TLF East Hub’s Small Groups (SG): Married Brothers and Sisters, Singles, and Group of Youth held their every first Friday (monthly) fellowship and prayer meeting on April 3 in their chosen venues and convened for different group activities. The SG members highlighted their fellowship with individual sharing and reflections based on the assigned topic, EXTREME, to include birthday celebrations, mass attendance and Thursday prayer intercessory at the Heritage Sanctuary.
Moreover, members shared their individual reflection on the given topics: the extent one would go to evangelize the teachings of Jesus and the faith experience in their family life and workplace challenges.
In addition, the SG meeting served as a meaningful venue for members to develop stronger connection and provide spiritual support and inspiration for one another. As a faithful community, it encouraged total obedience to the teachings of the Bible, the TLF Elder, priests-mentors, and speakers.
SCRIBES MINISTRY WORKSHOP
TLF East Hub Adviser, Maro Anyog and Scribes trainees Lorelai Grutas and Sofia Barcita attended the Scribes Ministry Workshop on April 1st at the Heritage Koinonia Lounge. Meanwhile, online writing participants listened via Zoom platform. Scribes Ministry Steward, Jo Advincula organized and facilitated the training activity.
Dr. Vera Tuplano, Scribes Ministry Steward, delivered the fun-filled and enriching learning experience. The workshop aimed to enhance the writing proficiency of scribes, to produce effective written outputs, and to document the various activities of the Lord’s Flock Community. The participants were thrilled when Elder-Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, Co-Founder Bro. Froilan Hong and the mission team surprised them and joined them during their break.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP GATHERING
On April 11 and 25, the TLF East Hub community joyfully gathered for their Praise and Worship activity at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Formation Center. Althea Martinez and Sofia Barcita, both Youth Ministry members, served as moderators. Attended by Advisors: Charlie Ordonez, Bert Gamez, and Rene and Maro Anyog, and Stewards, Gemma Alcantara and May Barcita, the activity commenced with the Binding Prayer, followed by joyful and heartfelt rendition of praise and worship songs and love offering prayer.
This weekly gathering/celebration recharged their “spiritual batteries” and they reconnected with the Lord through spirit-filled worship, fervent prayers, and powerful teachings. These events showcased the invigorating preaching of Bert Gamez with the themes: “Edifying One Another” and “Taking Back What the Enemy Has Stolen.” His teachings encouraged the listeners to apply these in their family, work, studies, and relationships.
The April 25th activity underscored the heartwarming testimonies of Steward Gemma Alcantara, members: Celine Dajugar, Ludy Badiola and Kyan Montecalbo. They happily shared how they and their families had been blessed and how they experienced the Lord’s divine goodness through His miraculous provisions and answered prayers.
Fellowship, catching-up stories and sharing dinner together capped the evening, with the members ending the night with joyful hearts, stronger bonds and enhancing their faithfulness to the Lord.
