The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community joined the annual “Walk for Life” initiative of the Sangguniang LAIKO (Lay Arm of the CBCP Episcopal on the Laity) which was held on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The LF contingent was led by Bro George Serranilla (External Affairs), Sis Lea Tapispisan (Pastor Ministry), Sis Judith Almendrala (Koros Ministry). They met up with the other communities and participants at 4am at the Welcome Rotunda for the 1-kilometer walk to the University of Santo Tomas grounds. Bro Bernie & Sis Myrna Lualhati were blessed to have the opportunity to ferry the Mama Mary statue in their open truck to the UST grounds. Additionally, the Koros Ministry was also given the blessing of performing the opening dance number, “Rise Up and Dance” which had a very meaningful message “in singing praises and dancing, despite burdens, fears and pains, we still rejoice because we have a LIFE with God forever.” Indeed, everyone was filled with joy at having supported a worthy cause.
