TLF East Hub 8th Founding Anniversary Celebration Antipolo City, October 12, 2025

Filled with immense excitement and gratitude, the Advisors, Stewards, Coordinators and members of the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community-East Hub Chapter gathered for a whole day celebration of their 8th year founding anniversary on October 12 for their first-ever outdoor fellowship event held at SN1 Private Resort in Antipolo City.

Led by the Chapter Advisers: Bro. Charlie Ordonez, Bro. Bert Gamez, and Bro. Rene and Sis. Maro Anyog, and Stewards Sis. Gemma Alcantara and Sis. May Barcita, the momentous occasion marked the 8th year of the community’s faithful devotion and obedience to the guidance and inspiration of Elders-Founders Bro. Bobby Rodriguez and Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, and Co-Founder Bro. Froilan Hong,

For the past eight (8) years, the chapter has faithfully conducted/participated in the following events:  Praise and Workship activity every 2nd and the 4th Friday of every month at the St. Therese Formation Center of the Child Jesus; monthly virtual Intercessory prayer devotion; Small Group (SG) monthly meetings; active participation in the weekly Worship Services and other spiritual activities organized at the Heritage Sanctuary.

In retrospect, it was in October 2017, when Bro. Charlie convened a preliminary meeting with Bro. Boboy & Sis. Precy Luna, Bro. Rene &  Sis. Maro Anyog and Bro. Noel Navarro aimed at supporting Soar’s vision to establish the TLF East Hub and consolidate the Pasig, Marikina and Antipolo areas into the community. Subsequently, the chapter has continuously maintained its faithful members over the years and has increased in number with new members who have actively engaged themselves with the chapter activities.

As a fitting anniversary commemoration, event participants came in groups starting at 10 a.m., with the Youth Ministry and Small World members having dominated the delegation. Sis. Agnes Andal, Prayer Intercessory Coordinator, led the solemn and heartfelt recitation of the Opening and Thanksgiving prayers, as the members lifted their hearts in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Moreover, TLF East members, especially the Youth and Small World, relished  the sumptuous lunch sponsored by the different small groups: Married, Singles and Youth.  Servings of lechon manok, pork giniling, pansit malabon, laing, native delicacies and fruits were delightfully shared and enjoyed by everyone until the afternoon snack.

Post-lunch rest time was spent with the conduct of the Small Group Fellowship Meetings: SG-Married, Brothers and Sisters, Singles, Youth. Once again, the SG Meetings enabled and inspired the members to give their individual sharing and reflection which centered on the topic, “Your Last Day” (2 Timothy 4:6-8).

In addition, this monthly SG meeting has always provided a deeply memorable experience to the members. It serves as a meaningful faith experience, and as a heart-warming opportunity for them to find comfort, love and friendship within the small group.  Some members even turned emotional as they shared their prayers, aspirations, and challenges, particularly, their family responsibilities, health and financial concerns. The SG members intently listened with utmost compassion and understanding. Closing prayers were offered after the activity.

Fun and bonding activities followed. Bro. Kyan Motecalbo, Sis. Sofia Ann Marie Barcita and Sis. Althea Zoe Martinez (Youth Coordinators) served with full enthusiasm and energy as moderators and games hosts for the fun-filled afternoon of indoor games participated in by the senior and adult members. Hours of fun and laughter ensued as the youth and the children participated in pleasurable pool games. Winners received their prizes and rewards.

As the chapter members honored and celebrated the community’s eight (8) years of faithfulness and togetherness in their faith journey, the highest praise and thanksgiving were lifted to God Almighty. His great mercy has endlessly favored the community and its members with spiritual blessings of unity, peace, protection and provisions in the last 8 years.  Lastly, His divine grace will continue as the community continues to fulfill its mission for the glory of God.

Congratulations and more power, TLF- East!

To God be the  glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
