TLF Dubai held its May celebration last May 26 ,2023 from 7:00 p.m. 9:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Oud Metha, Dubai. The theme was about SHE “A woman of virtue” (#RekindleFaithHopeCharity). In particular, this event underscored special recognition to those TLF members for their worthwhile achievements for the TLF community. Thus, this gathering which showcased the celebration of birthdays, wedding anniversary and Mother’s Day celebration demonstrated the significance of recognition of important events and the appreciation of noteworthy deeds by TLF members in Dubai.
The first part of the program honored the birthday celebrants, followed by the couples who celebrated their wedding anniversary for the month of May. They listened to video greetings; received cakes, and souvenirs; and was graced with a priestly blessing from Fr. Leny Escalada, OFM TLF Spiritual Director. Then, Fr. Leny blessed the TLF mothers who honored our Blessed Mother Mary with flowers and bestowed her with a crown – being the mother of all.
Moreover, the highlight of the night was the Santa-Cruzan-themed procession of the TLF mothers. They were honored with flowers, dances from the small world, teens, and their spouses. A mix of laughter and excitement filled the air as everyone participated in the activity and enjoyed watching the lively presentation. In addition, the community was proud of the people who received special recognition awards for their achievements for the month of May and congratulated those who worked diligently to make the activity a fun and fulfilling night.
