The six (6) chapters of The Lord’s Flock Hong Kong (TLF-HK) just concluded the conduct of their annual Facing ceremonies last February 14th for its Choi Hung Saturday Chapter held at the Holy Family Parish in Kowloon, and February 15th for the five (5) Sunday Chapters, namely, Notre Dame, St. Alfred, St. Anthony, Sts. Peter and Paul (SSPP) and Choi Hung Sunday, held at the SSPP Hall in Yuen Long, New Territories. The Hongkong Facing 2026 has demonstrated the undying service accorded by the leaders and workers during the past year and the forthcoming year 2026 as recognized by Sis Techie “Soar” & Bro. Froi.
In both special and sacred events, our beloved Elder-Founder-Vision Holder, Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez and Co-Founder, Bro. Froilan Hong awarded certificates of appreciation to the 2025 leaders and coordinators in recognition of their steadfast service and selfless dedication to the ministry. They likewise proudly presented to the HK Chapters the “Hall of Fame on Generosity (Chapter)” award where Soar expressed her heartfelt thanks and profound admiration to the leaders and members for their remarkable contribution and loyal support which made a lasting impact on our community. By the same token, the HK Chapters, through the stewards, demonstrated their deep respect and honoring to Soar by offering her with certificates of appreciation and gifts. This humble gesture takes cognizance of the Apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy that “the elders who direct the affairs of the church effectively are worthy of double honor especially those whose work is preaching and teaching (1 Timothy 5:17).

Subsequently, an audio-visual presentation “Look What the Lord Has Done in 2025?” was shown, highlighting the accomplishments and achievements of the community for the past year. Bro. Froi, thereupon, delightfully shared the Annual Financial Report, as well as the progress of the construction of the Heritage which gave us another opportunity to witness marvelous actions and amazing miracles and blessings of the Lord to our community.
What the Lord has in store for us in 2026
Sis Techie “Soar” began the second part of the FACING 2026 activity by exhorting about “disciple-making”. She explained that it is rooted in Matthew 28:19-20 whereby we are commanded not only to be a disciple of Christ, but we are also purposed to be a disciple-maker, actively and intentionally reaching out, encouraging, and teaching others to know, grow and faithfully follow Jesus.
Before the Consecration Rites, Soar and Bro. Froi presented the new organizational Chart of TLF, giving particular emphasis on the solemn bestowal of Bro. Froi to the Council of Founders, the transitional appointment of Sis. Michaela “Mik” R. Flores as Head Servant, and the roles of each functional box. The illustration likewise provided the HK Chapter a clearer understanding where it is situated in the organogram and how it relates to other entities.
The Consecration Rites
Eventually, Soar, assisted by Bro. Froi, called in the newly-appointed leaders and coordinators one by one for consecration. Afterwards, they formed a Cross in the center aisle and their commissioning and charging immediately ensued. They were advised to light their candles, kneel, and pray silently. Soar then prayed over them, citing a passage from Num. 11:16-30 where God instructed Moses to appoint 70 respected, capable elders from Israel to help share the heavy burden of leadership. The singing of “The Servant Song” followed which brought this momentous event to an end.
All the newly consecrated leaders had an overwhelming experience of God’s tremendous presence, power, and glory of being set apart for His use to multiply His kingdom.
