The Bislig Chapter of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community led the worship concert at the 2-day Vicariate Youth Congress (VYC) which was held by St. Vincent de Paul last November 23-24, 2024. Youth from Lawigan, Bislig, Mangagoy, Forest Drive, Barcelona, and Lingig gathered at Bislig City Cultural and Sports Center to celebrate unity and faithfulness to the Lord consistent with the theme, “Walking Together in HOPE, CHARITY, and FAITH.”
Before the concert began, all the TLF Bislig workers gathered backstage and prayed for anointing from the Lord, and surrendered everything into His hands. The whole venue was filled with enthusiasm and gratitude as the music team started with praise songs by Elevation Worship. A heartfelt rendition of the worship song “Confidence” by Sanctus Real radiated into the hearts of the youth. They reminisced how God provided Daniel the faith to go into the lion’s den, how He encouraged the heart of David in the battle against Goliath, and how He kept the hope in Moses’ heart in the wilderness.
The music ministry gathered backstage again after the resounding concert to give back the glory to God and ask for safety and protection for their trip back home.
The worship concert was indeed victorious! It catalyzed the youth of the VYC to give honor and glory to God.
