The Lord’s Flock Bislig Chapter: Christmas and Thanksgiving Party  December 1, 2024

On December 1, 2024, The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community Bislig Chapter celebrated their Christmas and Thanksgiving outing at Paranaga Kubo ni Inday Beach Resort, Municipality of Barobo, Surigao del Sur. The gathering was indeed an enjoyable and victorious one for all the participants. The Chapter members were gathered once again and created a greater bond with each other through the various activities.

A Wonderful Setting: Panaraga Resort

After an hour of travel, the participants immediately prepared the meals for lunch and decorated the venue with colorful balloons. The resort played a significant role in setting the mood for a day. The resort’s tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by thoughtful decorations, prepared them for a day of camaraderie, laughter, and gratitude.

Thanksgiving Feast

A bountiful Thanksgiving meal united the community and symbolized shared blessings and abundance.  The simple yet delicious food nourished both body and soul, a tangible representation of God’s provisions. Stewards Gerald and Misai Pastelero donated a ‘lechon baboy’ as their expression of support to the community. The act of sharing this meal together fostered a spirit of unity and thankfulness.

Fellowship and Fun

Following the meal, the atmosphere shifted to one of joyful fellowship. The game masters, Advic and Dernie set an array of lively team-building games. The parlor games brought laughter and friendly competition, strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories.  These lighthearted activities served as a reminder of the importance of joy and community in our spiritual lives. The simple pleasure of shared laughter and friendly rivalry deepened the sense of connection among members.

The Sharing of Blessings

The highlight of the event was the heartfelt exchange of gifts and the raffle prizes. These were symbolic expressions of gratitude for God’s blessings and for the contributions of each member.  Each carefully chosen gift represented shared faith and mutual support.  The warmth and sincerity of the gift-giving created a truly touching and memorable experience.

Unforgettable Memories

As the day ended, the participants all felt a sense of contentment and shared joy.  The TLF community’s Christmas and Thanksgiving celebration was far more than just a festive gathering; it was a testament to the strength of their bonding, a celebration of their collective achievements, and a promise of even brighter horizons ahead through the guidance of the Lord.

To God be the Glory.
