The first Spirit Empowerment Seminar: “Empowered Life” for 2026 was held at The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Sanctuary on January 31 and February 01, 2026. The seminar is a TLF quarterly event designed to help participants experience a deeper personal relationship with God through the power of the Holy Spirit. A total of one hundred and twenty-one (121) guests participated, composed of youth, single men and women, single parents and married couples. Bro. Dinky Florentino (Trustee) and Bro. Raymund Nobleza (Head Steward of Service Ministry) moderated the Saturday and Sunday events, respectively. Through the seminar, the participants will re-awaken the Holy Spirit that they received during Sacramental Baptism and Confirmation, and pursue a renewed and empowered life.
January 31, Saturday
The moderator, Bro. Dinky, cheerfully welcomed everyone while the Psalm Ministry led the joyful singing. Bro. Raymund Nobleza introduced the Charismatic Community – its origins and the significance of praise and worship. He emphasized the disciplined way of life after renewal and that the joyful singing is a powerful way to worship the Lord.
The Community’s Elder-Founder, Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, delivered the highlight of the seminar with the teachings: “Experiencing the Holy Spirit,” “Experiencing the Power of God’s Love” and “Experiencing A Spirit-Filled Life.” She delivered the teachings and skillfully weaved personal anecdotes and Biblical truths into the message of empowerment that resonated deeply with the seekers.
Sis. Lulu Perele led the powerful “Prayer for the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit.” Thereafter, the seekers shared their testimonies on the different manifestations of the presence of the Holy Spirit, which embodied the true essence of the seminar. One seeker boldly shared her past hurts and deep fears about the loss of her mother.
February 02 – Sunday
The second day was moderated by Bro. Raymund Nobleza who started with a summary of the first day. The Psalm Ministry led the praise and worship for a spirit-filled session.
Thereafter, Bro. Bert Gamez delivered the topic “Empowerment of the Holy Spirit.” He animatedly shared his spiritual journey and how his Christian foundation has transformed his character and has driven his mission in the community.
Subsequently, in the “Supernatural Aftermath,” Bro. Froilan Hong (Co-Founder) shared how his life was significantly altered after his near-death experience due to cancer; the Lord brought him back to good health and blessed him with many more years. By surrounding himself with the army of God’s protection, he has renewed his mind, body and soul.
Finally, Soar delivered the final teaching about “Experiencing the Power to be Transformed.” She assured them that everyone has the capacity to be renewed from inside out. Moreover, as she shared her life story, many participants were deeply moved by her testimony of faith, love and transformation.
Eucharistic Celebration
The SES concluded with the highest form of prayer, the Eucharistic Celebration, which was presided by Fr. Edward “JC “Gallora, DS. Before the mass was concluded, he prayed over the seeker and blessed them with holy water.
Indeed, the “Empowered Life” seminar revitalized the seekers, and strengthened their commitment to their faith and transformation.
