SPEAKERS’ TRAINING 2025 | July 6, 2025

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the next generation of the Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (TLFCC) preachers/teachers who enthusiastically accepted the invitation to serve as future members of the Heralds Ministry convened at the Speakers’ Training held on July 6, 2025, from 9a.m. to 1p.m. at the Heritage Sanctuary.

The excitement heightened with the presence of beloved Elder-Founder Sis. Techie “Soar” as speaker-mentor- a testimony of Soar’s vision of developing and appointing speakers for the chapters, both local and international.

A total of one hundred sixty-three (163) trainees attended the momentous training session (97 attendees from local chapters and 66 from international chapters) via a combination of face-to-face (at the Heritage Sanctuary) and virtually by Zoom.  Everyone was eager to be “excellent” in sharing the word of God.

“Am I Called to Preach?”

Sis. Techie passionately spoke about the topic, “Am I Called to Preach?” She discussed the highlights of the journey of the future speakers as a calling from God and receiving the grace to be used as God’s instrument in proclaiming His Word.

Additionally, she emphasized that the gift of serving as TLF speakers will involve:

  1. developing a burden for the lost
  2. possessing the gift of discernment
  3. striving to be more like Jesus
  4. having the gift to teach
  5. being equipped to teach

*Confirmation from the Elder herself is important.

Moreover, Soar shared her valuable insights and inspiring experiences as a preacher for more than 35 years. She discussed the important pointers to become an effective speaker/preacher. It starts with spiritual preparation and encounter with the Lord (Bible and prayer time, confession, fasting good deeds and anointing) and other important pointers:

  1. Listening and seeking audience with the Lord before speaking
  2. Demonstrating joy in speaking for the Lord
  3. Developing commitment
  4. Deepening of prayer life
  5. Creating a positive perception and first impression
  6. Connecting with the audience
  7. Exuding confidence and effective communication skills
  8. Creating a strong stage presence
  9.  Preparing   notes and structure for the talk
  10.  Using one’s miracle stories

Moving forward, Soar encouraged the participants to continue to seek the Holy Spirit with Bible passages, and to receive mentoring from the senior Heralds and from the Renew Ministry. Finally, the training culminated with a group photo with Soar to document the event.

Message from the Heralds/Renew Ministry

On behalf of the Ministry, Sis. Rose Baclig ascribed glory to God for the training opportunity – to be equipped, empowered and transformed for His service; likewise, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sis. Techie, whose wisdom, dedication and anointing have truly inspired the group. Finally, she congratulated the participants and commended them for their participation- a powerful sign of their obedience and love for the Lord.  Their “yes” to the call will bear fruit, not only in their lives but in the lives of those who will hear God’s message. “If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God” (1 Peter 4:11). Thus, she reminded them to continue to grow in humility and boldness, to speak with purpose and compassion. and above all, to preach with the heart of a servant, always pointing people back to God.

The journey as God’s messenger has only just begun. They must keep the fire burning, keep studying, keep praying – and allow the Lord to use their voice to bring light, hope, and truth to the world. God bless you all!”

To God be the glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
