Evangelization is deeply rooted in the mind of TLF Elder-Founder Sis Techie (Soar) Rodriguez. Thus, after Sor presented the Lord’s Flock (LF) youth evangelization initiatives at the Global 2033 Gathering of Leaders in Rome, her next step was to locate Filipino residents in Rome and Paris who could assist her in setting up Lord Flock (TLF) Chapters, respectively.
Planting a Community in Rome, Feb 2 – 5, 2023
In Rome, Bro Mel and Sis Chebelle Velasco introduced Sis Techie to their friend, Nimfa Banag with whom Soar spent an entire afternoon: getting to know each other, sharing stories and discussing evangelization opportunities. Convinced of Sor’s plans, Sis Nimfa and her husband scheduled a meeting with Rev. Fr. Aris Miranda, MI (Camillians) of the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena, Piazza della Maddalena.
Fr. Miranda who graciously received Soar and her team toured them inside the historic Church, built at the end of the 17th century. This church is also the resting place of San Camillo de Lellis. Then, Soar discussed the LF activities with him. He was eager to host a LF Chapter in the church and to hold a youth prayer concert to address the declining number of attendees and to attract young people in the church. To date, Sis. Nimfa is busy preparing for the forthcoming SES. What a blessing to have people who are excited in accepting the Lord’s mission!
Planting a Community in Paris Feb 13-14, 2023
Paris was not in the original itinerary of Sis Techie, but when she was informed that a previous LF member, Sis Angel Crisostomo, resides there, she immediately took the opportunity to plant another community. Sis Angel warmly welcomed Soar. She kept hugging Soar tightly and remained by her side throughout Sor’s stay in Paris. She gladly accepted the mission to create a LF Paris Chapter. Furthermore, Bro Mel introduced Soar and Sis Angel to his couple-friends, Anthony and Edna Estayo. Moreover, they expressed willingness to help gather Filipino friends and to start small groups in preparation for a Spirit Empowerment Seminar. Again, the Lord has wonderfully sent people who will expand the LF Mission to bring more people to Him.

Indeed, the Lord has created a way of bringing people together to enable the proclamation of His Word. In turn, Sis Techie is excited to return to Rome and Paris to conduct the SES within the next three months. Truly, the Lord has blessed her with people who will help expand the Lord’s Flock evangelization in Europe.
