Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Everyone faces moments in life when they fall, feel left behind, or become overwhelmed with struggles in life. In a world where men must stay tough and never cry, it’s easy to feel alone. But Scripture reminds us: two are better than one.
The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community hosted a Men’s Conference themed “No Man Left Behind” to address this reality. The event brought brothers together to break down walls, share burdens, and commit to supporting one another.
At noon, the Marshals led by Bro. Albert Rivera directed arriving vehicles while host ministry members led by Bro. Dante Depante greeted guests with handshakes and shoulder taps. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as some registered while others explored the Adventure Camp and Sanctuary, taking in the venue’s manly game room style setting.
The Conference: No Man Left Behind
Following tradition, The Lord’s Flock opened with praise and worship. The Psalm and Koros Ministry, joined by Bros. Ronald Tapia, Jon Angeles, and Emman Almendrala, filled the sanctuary with music that lifted spirits and prepared hearts. Bro. Keith Malhabour managed the sound system, Bro. Martin Duran operated the lights, and the communications team led by Bro. Nad Gonzales displayed lyrics for everyone to follow. Behind the scenes, Saint Luke’s Ministry, led by Bro. Ferdie Gonzales, stood ready with first aid support.

The energetic Bro. Kent Galido moderated the conference seamlessly. Bro. Froilan Hong, TLF Co-founder, opened the program with a keynote address that struck at the heart of the day’s theme: men need each other. He challenged attendees to reject the “lone wolf” mentality and embrace brotherhood.

Bro. Raymund Nobleza followed with the topic “Walls Down – Creating a Safe Space” and invited men to lower their defenses, seek help, and create environments where vulnerability is strength, not a weakness, as it allows God to change our lives.
Thereafter, Bro. Carlo Marudo presented “Lone Wolf No More” emphasizing that isolation weakens while community strengthens. He reminded everyone that no one was designed to walk alone.

Subsequently, the participants divided into small groups to discuss “What’s holding you back?” The conversations ran deep as the men opened up about their struggles, fears, and barriers. The honesty in these circles broke down years of isolation for many.
After the sharing, everyone gathered at the Adventure Camp for military style ration snacks and fellowship. The energy shifted as they participated in “Carry Your Brother” an activity that literally demonstrated the day’s message “brothers lifting injured brothers” while supporting each other’s weight and refusing to leave anyone behind.

The second segment started with Tatay Bobby Rodriguez, the community’s elder and founder, sharing a topic- “The Man Who Commits.” His words carried the weight of experience as he challenged men to move beyond good intentions and make real commitments to their brothers, families, and faith.

An open forum followed, where guests sought advice from the three speakers. Questions ranged from practical struggles to deep spiritual battles, and the speakers answered with wisdom and transparency.
During a quiet moment of reflection, participants wrote about their barriers and commitments on paper. These written pledges represented real struggles and real decisions. Rev. Fr. Glen Galao later consecrated the papers at the holy mass, bringing the day’s commitments before God.
The atmosphere intensified as guests stood together to pledge an oath to the brotherhood. The ceremony ended with the battle cry “I am all in” a declaration that echoed through the sanctuary. Group photos captured the moment, preserving the memory of men who chose to stand together.
A Eucharistic Celebration officiated by Fr. Glen concluded the gathering, uniting everyone in worship and thanksgiving.
The day began with the truth that two are better than one, and it ended with a room full of men who decided to live that truth.
To God Be The Glory!
