The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community (TLFCC), two-day Leadership Summit, last January 3–4, 2026 provided leaders and emerging leaders with a sacred space to breathe, be inspired, be equipped, and be empowered. It took place at the Sanctuary, TLFCC Heritage Building, Quezon City, where participants gathered in faith, fellowship, and divine purpose.
The summit opened with warmth, energy, and anticipation as early birds were welcomed with unlimited coffee and pandesal, setting a relaxed yet joyful tone for the day. A total of 462 enthusiastic leaders and emerging leaders gathered, eager to grow, connect, and be empowered for the year ahead.

Sis. Emma Espina and Bro. Carlo Marudo graciously moderated the program and guided the summit’s flow with clarity and enthusiasm. The two-day summit began with uplifting and Spirit-filled Praise and Worship led by Sis. Daphie Tapia and Sis Raffy Flancia, respectively, drawing the community into God’s presence and preparing everyone’s hearts for the event.

Throughout the summit, Bro. Al Flores, Bro. Jolo Baclig, and Bro. Jessie Medallo as hosts designed fun activities for everyone to participate in, filling the room with laughter while fostering camaraderie and teamwork.

SUMMIT DAY 1
Scriptural Theme: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:6).
The verse set the foundation for the summit, reminding leaders that leadership is not about perfection but about progress. Even when growth feels slow or unseen, God is actively at work—patient, consistent, and purposeful. What He has started, He will surely complete.
SESSION TOPICS
- TO INSPIRE: PERMISSION TO OBSESS (Sis. Mik)
The session invited leaders and emerging leaders to embrace a holy, positive obsession. It is the kind of obsession that presses them forward, driving them to do more despite challenges, discouragement, and self-doubt toward what God has created them to do. This God-given passion refuses to settle for mediocrity because we are God’s masterpiece (Eph. 2:10) with divine potential meant for a special purpose. Sis. Mik gave three (3) Ways to Ignite Positive Obsession: 1. Focus Relentlessly (to do work with intentionality; quality over quantity) 2. Care Deeply (People don’t just want great programs; they want relational connections) and 3. Commit Completely (to be “all in” for Jesus).

- TO EQUIP: EQUIP (Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez)
The session highlighted the leaders’ biblical call to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:11–12). Drawing from more than 40 years of faithfully following Christ, Sis. Techie shared her personal leadership journey and demonstrated how she intentionally equipped each member of the Community by following Jesus’ model of leadership: first, to pray and discern whom to select; second, to train through guidance, correction, and formation; and third, to send them out—empowered to grow, serve, and make disciples who, in turn, will also make disciples.
- TO EMPOWER: CREATING AN EMPOWERING CULTURE (Sis. Mik Flores)
The session encouraged the leaders to create an empowering culture through clarity and trust. Clarity aligns people with the mission and vision—what they are called to do and why, while trust gives them the freedom to determine how to do it. True empowerment creates space to take risks, make mistakes, learn, and grow, because empowerment is not about perfection but about progress. Hence, leaders must go beyond delegating tasks to delegating authority to build great leaders and big thinkers.
SUMMIT DAY 2
Scriptural Theme: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit” (Mt. 28:19-20)
Making disciples is not optional—it is a direct command from Jesus to every believer.
SESSION TOPICS
- DISCIPLESHIP (Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez)
The session reminded everyone that Jesus has called every Christian to make disciples (Mt. 28:19–20). Moreover, Sis. Techie shared how Jesus began His ministry and multiplied His followers, providing leaders with a clear model of discipleship. She emphasized that discipleship is not about making converts but about forming committed followers of Christ. Although the cost is high, faithful disciples can multiply when they entrust what they have learned and personally experienced to faithful people who can teach others as well (2 Tim. 2:2 or the Discipleship Principle 222.

- PASTORAL TRANSITION (Bro. Bobby Rodriguez)
The session emphasized that change is inevitable, and transitions are both biblical and necessary. They are not losses, but opportunities for growth and deeper trust in God. Bro. Bobby stressed that a leadership transition is a sacred passing on of responsibility, not ownership. He ended by saying that in leadership we should: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Phil. 2:3-4)

SUMMIT WORKSHOPS
Each session was followed by a workshop where participants shared insights and personal experiences through guided discussion questions, turning the event into more than just listening; it became a space for connection and relationship-building.
In conclusion, the Leadership Summit 2026 set a powerful tone, reminding leaders that they are:
- God’s masterpiece, created for a divine mission—one they are permitted to obsess over.
- Equipped with knowledge and personal experiences, serving as powerful tools for discipleship.
- Called and empowered to make disciples, who in turn will make disciples.

Truly, the summit was a resounding success!
