HEALING MINISTRY OUTREACH: NATIONAL KIDNEY & TRANSPLANT INSTITUTE | April 12, 2025

On April 12, 2025, the Healing Ministry of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community embarked on their first outreach of the year, bringing spiritual comfort and prayerful support to the patients undergoing challenging treatments. A wave of hope and healing enveloped the Dialysis Section of the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), Quezon City.

The outreach, in coordination with NKTI Credit Officer Miss Millet Jordan Andres, was participated in by nine (9) dedicated members of the Healing Ministry who assembled at the NKTI Chapel on the second floor at 10:58 AM. Led by Healing Ministry Steward Marlon Gerola, the ministry began with a powerful binding and empowerment prayer, invoking God’s protection, strength and presence in this mission.

During the outreach, a total of six (6) patients were counseled and prayed over, experiencing the power of prayer and the love of Christ during their most trying situation. The support and warmth from the ministry members served as a soothing comfort, as they reminded the patients and family members about God’s promises of healing in Isaiah 53:5, “By his wounds we are healed,” and in James 5:15, “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

As the outreach came to an end, Marlon Gerola led the cleansing and closing prayer, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and uplift those in need. The event concluded at 12:44 PM, leaving a lasting impression of hope and faith in the hearts of all participants.

Moving forward, the Healing Ministry will be conducting outreach at NKTI every second Saturday of the month. Anchored in the divine assurance from Jeremiah 30:17 – “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declared the Lord” – these efforts aim to bring God’s love and healing as a source of hope to those seeking solace and recovery.

To God be the glory!
