On August 31, 2024, the Harvest Classes 1 to 4 (TLF commissioned members from the Spirit Empowerment Seminars of 2021 to 2024) had their Team Building Activity at the 5th Pastoral Lobby of The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Catholic Charismatic Formation Center. The activity aimed to foster a strong and friendly relationship among the Harvest Class members and to make their spiritual journey more comfortable and happy.
The members came in their custom-made and colorful shirts, which set the fun mood; Harvest-1 in Red, Harvest-2 in Green, Harvest-3 in Blue, and Harvest-4 in Yellow shirts.
Chelo Dusaran started the activity with a prayer. This was followed by the Opening Remarks of Lea Tapispisan (Pastor Ministry Head Steward), and the joyful singing led by Mike Concepcion. With the energy already high, Helen Gaa (Moderator), proceeded with the games which were enthusiastically participated in by the members. Teams were noisily and joyfully cheering for their teammates. The games were hilarious!
Afterwards, the August Birthday celebrants, Jocelyn Mortalla, Aileen Francisco, Leonila Abon, and Junathan Estabillo were greeted with a Birthday Song, gifted with a cake, and prayed over by the group led by Elvie Tapia (Pastor Ministry Steward). Elvie also took the opportunity to encourage the group by sharing her Harvest Formation experience and how this helped her to remain connected to the Lord and involved with TLF. Inspired by the testimony, Helen was moved to ask a representative from each Harvest Class to also share their experiences and/or to give a message to the group. Tina Morados represented Harvest 1; she was followed by Helen Gaa of Harvest 2, by Judelyn Retiro of Harvest 3, and lastly by Ainie Bastre of Harvest 4. Everyone was all ears to their heartfelt sharing.
The fun continued when Game Masters Renee Bacayon and Judelyn Retiro introduced the “EGG HUNTING” game. Five (5) members per Harvest Class competed. The teams had to be strategic because whoever found the most of their opponents’ eggs within 5 minutes would be declared the winner. It was observed that there was no coaching from the non-participating Harvest Class members – a wonderful manifestation of the TLF Core Value – INTEGRITY, which was instilled in them!
Finally, the Harvest Leaders modeled servanthood to the Harvest Class members; they happily plated and lovingly served the sumptuous food to them.
Chay Arevalo concluded the activity with a Thanksgiving Prayer. Indeed, the Team Building was a success! it made the connection among the Harvest Class members more relaxed, supportive, and happy.
To God be the Glory
