GLOBAL INGATHERING AND ANOINTING 16 NOVEMBER 2025

The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held its Global Anointing and the Global Ingathering last November 16,2025. The Elders-Founders:  Bobby Rodriguez (Tatay Bob) and Sis. Techie (Soar) Rodriguez with Co- Founder Bro. Froilan Hong led the sacred ceremony. Excited leaders and members were consecrated through the anointing of oil which emerged as a central ritual underscoring the relationship between divine blessing and human obedience.

Sis. Gina Duran (Steward Renew Ministry) who delightfully emceed the event, called out the various ministries and chapters to cheer to make their presence felt. It was a reunion of different chapters both local and international. Thereafter, Sis. Bea Baclig with the Psalm and Koros Ministries joyfully led the congregation singing and praising the Lord.

Community Updates

Moreover, Bro. Raymund Nobleza reported the activities and events of the Pastor, Mission Ministry, and a few community updates, from August to October, 2025.  On the other hand, Bro. Froilan Hong who presented the financial status of the community, summarized the total collections, disbursements and funds that have been raised from the major activities like the Elders’ birthday last August. Additionally, Bro. Dinky Florentino who showed the status of the construction of the upper floors encouraged the members to continue their support to the Heritage construction.

Anointing Rites

Further, Soar reiterated that facing challenging assignments from God has never been easy because these tasks seem overwhelming, uncomfortable, or far beyond our abilities. However, these difficult assignments are not punishments but opportunities to develop our character, deepen our faith and participate in God’s plan. Particularly, God chose Joshua, whose mission was difficult, dangerous and required great courage, to lead the Israelites into the Promise Land, but Joshua obeyed God wholeheartedly (Jn. 14:15). Indeed, he is an epitome of obedience and faithful leadership.

In the same way, Soar exhorted that God does not choose individuals because they are strong; He gives strength to those who choose to trust Him. He may be using one person’s courage to bless others, even generations to come. Thus, facing difficult assignments becomes bearable-and even purposeful when we realize that God has been present in every moment of our life.

Consequently, Soar reminded that submitting to different authorities:  God, parents, spouse, employer, pastor/priest or church elders is an essential part of a disciplined and faith-filled life. These authorities provide guidance, wisdom, correction, and support. By choosing to submit, individuals experience growth, blessings and a deeper relationship with God. Ultimately, submission is a sign of humility and trust – a willingness to follow the path that leads to truth and righteousness. Hence, the highest form of submission is to submit to God.

Finally, the highlight of the anointing was the entrance of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by workers’ anointing of oil.  While the song “Here I am, Lord” was played touching the hearts of many, Tatay Bob and Soar anointed one another, including Bro. Froi with the Council of Advisers and the Execom / Mancom.

All in all, Soar concluded the Anointing Day with a heartfelt prayer and thanked the Lord that everyone was delighted and eager to be anointed.

To God be the glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
