The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held its Global Anointing on August 27, 2023. This was participated in by local leaders and workers at the Heritage Center, and by provincial and international Chapters virtually via zoom. The anointing of workers is a consecration of dedicated workers to fulfill the Community’s activities and tasks in accordance with God’s plans through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
As the moderator, Sis Gina Duran warmly welcomed all the local and international participants, while Sis Judith Almendrala and the Psalm Ministry led the congregation in Praise and Worship.
Community Updates
Bro. Froilan Hong, Co-Founder, presented the reports on the Community’s Financials, the Ministries’ accomplishments, and an update on the Heritage construction (completion of the 8th and 9th floors).
Thereafter, Sis Techie “Soar” Rodriguez shared the Lord’s message which she received during the mid-year planning in Subic last July 2023. Per Revelations 2:4, the Community is being rebuked by the Lord: “You don’t love Me or each other as you did at first!” Thus, Soar urged everyone to repent, bring back their loving feeling for the Lord, and commit to obey and serve Him. To drive home this point, Soar asked three ladies, “The LF Supremes” to sing “… you’ve lost that loving feeling…” Everyone at the Sanctuary was delighted and gamely sang with them.
Dedication Rites
A unique segment was done in this Anointing, which was the “Dedication Rites” of the “Harvest 1 – 23” with 25 members from the most recent SES – Batches Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers.
Anointing Ceremony
Subsequently, everybody at the Sanctuary knelt in silent prayer to welcome the Blessed Sacrament. Soar and Bro Froi solemnly approached the Blessed Sacrament in prayer. Thereafter, they anointed the Execom first, who then lined up to anoint the rest of the Ministry stewards and workers. Throughout the anointing, the Psalm Ministry sang worship songs, and the congregation was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The Anointing ceremony was concluded with the exit of the Blessed Sacrament. Lastly, the committed leaders and workers of the Community were rekindled and spirit–filled once again and eager to accomplish their respective tasks to bring more people to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
To God be the Glory!
