Last Sunday, 17 December 2023, The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held their ‘Facing2024’ ceremony at the Heritage Formation Center. “Facing” is an annual event that sets the theme and overall direction of the community for the next year. Elder-Founder & Vision-Holder Sis. Techie “Sor” Rodriguez prays for the guidance of the Lord and the Holy Spirit, and consults with her spiritual advisers to determine the direction for all the initiatives. At the same time, the leaders/stewards are also identified and consecrated to fulfill their tasks ahead.
Emcees Raymund Nobleza and May Barcita greeted all the leaders who were present in the Sanctuary as well as the International and Provincial Chapter leaders who were tuned-in via zoom. They acknowledged the presence of the Execom led by the Elder-Founders, Tatay Bob and Sis. Techie Rodriguez and Co-Founder, Bro. Froilan Hong.
What the Lord has done in 2023
In the first segment, the leaders of the current year were acknowledged for their service and accomplishments. Led by a parade of banners identifying the five (5) Ministries and the Executive Office, the Head Stewards and Stewards received Certificates of Appreciation. Tatay Bob thanked them as they were chosen by God to serve, and urged them to commit again and be good examples to their flock.
Subsequently, the Outstanding servants and chapters were given Awards:
- Most Generous Chapters: Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Bakersfield
- Most Generous Members: Joey & Joy Molina, Maria Roy, Rosalie Gabriel, Allan Almendrala, Mr & Mrs Anonymous
- Leaders of the Year: Grace Anne Pancho, Janette De Quito, Christine Majhen
- Servants of the Year: Ricky lee, Evelyn Reyes, Dante Dipante, Albert Rivera
- Outstanding Volunteer: Tobit Flancia
On a grateful note, the stewards performed a praise dance to honor the rekindling passion of their service in 2023.
Lastly, Bro. Froi summarized the results of the year in terms of the Community’s financials, the accomplishments of all the Ministries, and the most important milestone, the completion of the Heritage Ministry floor.
IGNITE 2024
In the highlight of the day, Sor Techie introduced the theme “IGNITE2024” and elaborated with the following scriptural verses.
“For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying-on of your hands” (1Timothy 2:7-6).
“Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to their herds” (Proverbs 27:23)
Moreover, the Lord’s Flock Vision and Mission of “SAVING GOD”S PEOPLE AND BRINGING THEM TO SAFETY” continues…
- To consolidate and strengthen spiritually the TLF Global Community
- To rekindle the fire of TLF members worldwide.
- To plant / revive more chapters (Germany, Rome, Italy & Paris).
- All must put into Practice: “Make every person we meet our mission field.”
The designated Leaders for 2024 were announced and they were consecrated by the Elders, starting with the new set of Board of Trustees followed by the Council of Advisers, Head Stewards, Stewards of the five (5) Ministries: EVANGELIZE- PASTOR-EQUIP- SERVE- SEND (EPESS) Ministries, and the Executive Office.
Lastly, Kent Galido, instructed the audience to follow the “IGNITE” chant and choreography, to the delight of everyone.

Indeed, Facing IGNITE2024 was a resounding success. All the leaders were excited with the fervor to serve and looking forward to everything that the Lord plans for the following year.
