On March 15, 2025, Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, Elder-Founder of The Lord’s Flock (TLF), together with Judith Almendrala, Elder’s Outreach Steward, attended the Daly City Chapter’s Worship Service at the St. Pio Hall in St. Andrew’s Church. Her visit followed the recently concluded “Facing 2025” ceremonies in the USA East Coast and West Coast Chapters.
Soar shared her teaching “The Mystery of Unanswered Prayers.” She assured everyone that God hears, listens and answers our prayers because He is an answering God. Thus, He wants us to knock, seek, and ask Him (Matthew 7:7).
- But we might ask: “What if our prayers remain unanswered? Does it mean that our prayers fall on deaf ears or that God does not listen?” When we are NOT in a deep relationship with God, we create a barrier between God and us. We call this the “dead spot.” Sins and unforgiveness cause this dead zone. Hence, we are unable to receive His blessings. “But your iniquities have separated you from your God. Your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).
- To reconcile with God, we must confess our sins. When we pray, we acknowledge God’s presence in our life, and we begin to recognize His voice. But praying is not just asking. It is also praising Him for the wonderful things He has done, declaring His goodness, and submitting our plans to Him. “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
- Subsequently, Soar invited everyone to go around and ask for forgiveness and reconcile with one another and with God.
Lastly, the Chapter members surprised Soar with an advanced 45th spiritual birthday celebration. An outpouring of love and support was extended to Soar while the Psalm Ministry Newgen group dedicated a song to her.
Truly, a joyous feeling pervaded the hall as the members manifested warmth and love for one another. Soar’s caring presence and sharing of God’s Words indeed blessed the Daly City Chapter.
To God be all the glory!
